Ello all.
So I've heard of people doing what are called "Rainbow marines". Usually its a regular SM army, but each squad is from a different chapter. I can see this as a way to keep from getting bored from painting the rank and file.
Has anyone seen an army like this fielded? I keep coming up with ideas for my own army, and so far I've only painted one squad, so stripping it and starting over wouldn't be a huge deal, but it seems like I keep thinking of different things, and I feel like I'll never get done with my current project.
Btw this would be the time to say I would be doing it with Sisters of Battle models instead of your typical SM models. And with that I'd like a few suggestions as far as what chapters would fit with my squads
HQ - St. Celestine
1 squad of Celestines - Ultramarines ?
Dominions (fast attack) - Raven Guard ?
Sister Squad -
Sister Squad -
Sister Squad -
Retributer Squard (heavy weapons) -
Serephim Squad (jump troops) - Blood Angels ?
Suggestions for any of the squads and explinations on why would be most helpful.
