Does the Emperor really channel the astronomican beacon for I have proof which counters it claiming rather a choir of chosen psykers create and maintain it, so why is it that people say the Emperor is essential for its existence, the Codex Imperialis clearly states otherwise, though not Directly.

So who really controls the Astronamican and why is it restricted to the Imperium borders only, is there certain restraints and what the Hell does it look like??? A light in the end of the tunnel?

I thought it was more just a Landmark that people navigate using, like sailors using the stars.

I htink it was said once that the Emp took over control of it to lessen the burden on the Psykers but was put into the GHolden Throne before he could let go control so he is kinda stuck with it now. I know they feed him 1,000 psykers a day to keep him alive and also to keep the Astronomicon active.

It is a device, a homing beacon if you will that allows Astropaths to guide Imperial ships while they are in the warp, so they are able to stay on course and not wonder, lost in the chaos. So yeah you could say it is a light at the end of the tunnel.

The Emperor controls the astronomicon. A choir of 10000 psykers provides the power and the Emperor channels it. BRB 4th edition page 122

Here's a thought.
From different sources I found out that the large concentration of Navigators is on earth. Is there a possibility that it's not the emperor but the large concetration of navigators in 1 places which provides the beacon?

And a more dangerous question arises from this of course. is the emperor still alive?
