I was wandering because I want to make a new race (fluff terms only I posses no sculpting skill) and I think the known galaxy is to crowded so I asked this to avoid contradicting the fluff.

Well most of the Galaxy is unknown, at least to the Imperium and therefore us, so you've got a lot of room to work with.

 

Don't worry they eat Orks for breakfast but they don't like gretchin because they are much to crunchy

 

Well we only asume that the Tyranids left thier part of the universe becuase they ate everything, Maybe a more meaner race kicked them out... You could start there prehaps?

 

God that would be a twist.... the nids are inter...universal refugees.

 

There are entire alien empires within every Segmentum of the Imperium, even Solar. mankind has not visited or charted every viable planet, much less colonised them. Mankind's worlds are pearls in a string. While they're clustered in places and some worlds have lots of space-traffic, much of the Imperium is isolated and has contact with the wider empire only in the form of Chartist captains and the tithe.
