Ok ok, this aint perfect or finished by any stretch of the imagination but its a start in creating my version of the Yautja for 40k (Yautja are the Predator's, well from Predator 1, 2 and Alien Vs Predator etc). Im no expert on the Yautja, but i know a fair bit about the 40k universe, only stuff i really know about the Yautja is from the movies and a quick browse of wikipedia
Any how hears my start on them, i didnt come up with this list, a friend sent me a blank one, dont know where he got it from, but ive filled it in and here we are.

Major topograhical items:
3 major landmasses, North and South poles, and the main very large Eyllis’rail (Land of the Hunt).
53 minor islands, 8 of the 53 islands form a circle, these remote islands have theological and religious sites which date back to early Yautja history, ceremonies for right of passage still occur on these islands.
The Eyllis’rail is separated by many mountains and the edges a boarded by an inland ridge of mountains called Bael’sel (Mountain Guardians). The Bael’sel has multiple openings which allow the winds to flow through causing a unique and strong wind channels which crisscross the continent.
The North and South centres of Eyllis’rail are large economical hubs where the majority of the society is centred, they cover a large land mass as the Yautja prefer large areas to dominate and rome, and the males are very territorial (Wont see a high rise apartment complex, would start too many territorial fights)
The West centre is a large and highly technological advanced section (Not any more advanced than other areas, but much more numinous and used in much more regularly) It contains the large mountain on the planet at its centre, size was increased by terra forming. At the top quarter of the mountain there is a huge star port, used to launch the hunts, war, exploratory and the Kennyr’rail transport. The star port is split into four sections respectively. The mountain and docked craft is a remarkable sight, which cannot be defined, it is natural beauty mixed with Yautja made landmarks and floating around the mountain, whilst docked, with terminals protruding from the mountain, connecting too the crafts bodies.
The East centre is dominated by agricultural developments and small hunting grounds near the tropics.
Cities and Towns: (Still working on this)
Economy: The Yautja economy is, well non existence if compared to the imperium. , there is no records of trading with other races and the society is basically on one level, with minor fluctuations described in society section. The economy is basically local planet trading of minerals, food, and technology.
Society: The Yautja society is a complex one; it could be viewed as a three level system, young bloods, adults, and elders. The young bloods are unproven warriors who have yet too complete their right of passage. Adults have passed the right of passage and have chosen their role in society. Elders are Yautja who have reached a position upon the council, but that simple view would be nothing compared to the real society, and rather primitive.
For many species there is a major social divergence between the genders, females generally raise children, and do not participate in wars, that’s left to the stronger males. The Yautja society gender split is different, females bear the children, but once born, the child and mother move to the tropical forests on Dar’rail for three years/ In these three years the child grows and is protected by the mother, also the mother teaches the child how to gather food (mainly fungi, and small animals) and skin/clean/prepare the food.
At the end of the three years the mother and child return to the place of birth, and the father takes the child (Who is now the equivalent of a 14 year old human). The father amd child travel to the mountain ridge, Bael’sel, where they will remain for three years. At the mountain ridges, the child learns how to hunt, make basic equipment and weapons, and prepare for the rites of passage. The pair will have to defend themselves against the many dangers they will face (With out the fathers normal arsenal).
After this the child (Now the equivalent to an 18 year old human) will have to face the test, the rite of passage. Information on the rite of passage is restricted.
The society has a caste system, with three major castes, (Still working on it).
Theological Situation: The Yautja dont have a god they worship as the almighty creator of everything, or amazing uniter of the galaxy, etc etc, they follow a shasmatic (Dont know if thats even a word) approach, following old cultural beliefs, forming the basics to their society built around respect, honour, survival and the hunt. The Yautja have few psychers, but their powers are considerable, and are often referred to as seer's, they can predict to near future with some degree of accuracy through rituals which comprise of chants, blood markings and specific placement of bones from fallen Yautja. These seer's are often used by the high council to spread light on upcoming events and so forth.
The Yautja do worship a daemon, this daemon is not worshipped religiously or given Yautja sacrifices, this daemon was once a Yautja, a mighty warrior, a hunter, he won many battles for the Yautja which resulted in many planets coming under Yautja control, he also managed to slay a Tyranid Hive Tyrant and its entire body guard in close combat, this feat left the daemon (who at this stage was still a mortal Yautja) mortally wounded, he would have, should have died soon after the epic fight, as their was no way to get him medical assistant in time (feild kits were not designed for the scale of injury he acquired). A seer of the Yautja had been assigned to the formation, this seer was the first ever seer to experience combat, up to that point in time seers were kept away from fights and seen as predomitally non military. This seer quickly came to the dieing warrior, and preformed a ritual which took many hours, hours in which the warrior should have died.
But the warrior did not die, the warrior slowly began to heal, and after 3 long hours the seer slumped to his knee's, all energy drained from his body he was a light grey colour, the blood circle around the warrior began to pulse a dark red aura. This startled the fellow Yautja who immediately steeped back and drew their weapons, suspicious of what the seer had done. The seer shouted a final word then fell to the ground dead. The fallen warrior then rose. He rose like he had a choir of angels lifting his body upright so he did not have to move a muscle, once upright dark wing tore out of his back, the wings were ripped in places, they were images from a nightmare. The Yautja all backed away, fear creeping into their minds. The fallen warrior skin slowly changed, rippling, turning a dark grey, hardening, his face had transformed the most significantly, two horns protruded from the top half of his skull, his fangs grew larger and his eyes became an eerie white which shone like light house in a sea of darkness. His hands became claws razor sharp, his muscles became larger, and he grew at least 2 foot taller, within 4 minutes the transformation was complete, the fallen warrior had become an almighty daemon, or rather a rogue daemon prince had now possessed the fallen Yautja body.
The other Yautja all fell to their knees and bowed, knowing they were in the company of a demi god. The daemon spoke with a tone unlike any Yautja, the Yautja all rose, gathered their equipment and prepared for an upcoming battle. A Tyranid force was charging towards them, mere minutes away, no one had noticed due to the ritual. The daemon lead the Yautja formation and they annihilated the superiour Tyranid force.
The daemon now resides on Dar’rail, but is not worshipped as a god in his own right. He is seen as a supreme warrior, a hunter of unmatchable power, he is consulted on upcoming battles and given sacrifices of the foes race as to find their weaknesses. The daemon is also consulted regularly by the seer's and is seen as the key to their power, and child that they made. The daemon does move from Dar'rail to fight and assist in important battles where his might is required.
Normal Citizen Average Income: Not applicable
Water Supply: The water supple comes from several large inland lakes/rivers. There is a large mountain scheme which captures water and distributes it to a number of dams, there are also salt water distillers past the Bael’sel mountain ridge, but is only used in extreme droughts.
Notable Locations:
1 The Bael’sel mountain ridges which encircle the giant continent.
2 The Rau’ro (Star Walker) mountain is a spectacular sight, being the largest landmark, and only land star port, located in the west centre.
3 The Cor’ria (Legendary Hunters) temple is an Aztec/Egyptian mix and houses the remains of many great hunters, and wall carvings depicting their stories.
Notable Citizens: (Still working on this)
• Master Elder, ........., ........ is a living legend among the Yautja, he has lead countless successful hunts on the Xenomorph's and was part of the hunt team which captured a norn queen, the feat left ........... with permamnet scares across his entire body, and loss of his left eye. Their are only two other suvivors of that hunt, ........... and .......... who now form .......... personal body guard.
• The high council, names of the current members cannot be reveiled. They can be found in the ......... spire.
• Cheif ........., commander of all the Yautja military operations, second only to the Master Elder.
Non-Military and Hunt History:
1 2327 by Yautja records: Complete unified nation (more like conquered by the Dryear’ raheal ‘Champions of the Gods’ clan).
2 2648 by Yautja records: Completion of the Rau’ro mountain port.
3 2655 by Yautja records: Completion of Rua’coranna (Star Legend Maker, equivalent to a Space Marine Battle Barge, but with far superior cloaking mechanisms.
Hunt History:
1 Hunt of Splinter Fleet Lylander, successful capture of Norn Queen, and complete annihilation of fleet.
2 Successive hunts on planet [--<CLASSIFIED>--] for honour hunts and trials.
3 Human hunts on Imperium outer rim worlds, were rumours and speculations of the Yautja race can still be heard, and rise after brutal murders.
Military History:
1 2658 by Yautja records: Dar’rail is attacked by a small splinter Tyranid force, unknown origin and fleet. The splinter force was successfully defeated, but left the planet ruined, took almost all the readily available resources to restore the planet back to its initial health via terra forming and other techniques. This encounter was the first that the Yautja had with a Tyranid force (Giving them an idea that Tyranid fleets were well a lot smaller than a real fleet is), and they named the Tyranids Kainde amedha (Hard Meat, or Xenomorph).
2 2734 by Yautja records: 3 Cruisers left Dar’rail in a military hunt of the source of the Tyranid attack, the force found Hive Fleet Xenomorph which destroyed the the 3 cruisers with ease, messages were relayed back to the Yautja worlds in distress and opening the Yautja eyes to how large the Tyranid species was and how the attack on Dar’rail must have been a (splinter/sepratist/lost/seperated/how ever you want to explain it) focre.
3 2800 by Yautja records: Establishment of territory, Tyrnea’rail system, and deemed largest size which the race should develop to defend successfully against the Tyranids should a fleet stray towards it, construction of counter measures and a permanent defence force were completed on this date. The Tyrnea’rail system would be able to fend off any fleet for enough time until the full force of the Yautja race could be brought to bear for war, though if multiple fleets were to attack, it would prove fatal, but the Tyrnea’rail system appears to be outside the Tyranid path and has yet to be given any attention by the Tyranid major fleets.

Current Military Status: Gold, Hunts a to be planned and submitted to the high council prior to commencing, the council decided if it should proceed or if it would endanger the Yautja race.
There is currently no major offensive, small skirmishes on border edges against minor races attempting to enter the Tyrnea’rail system. Defensive developments are taking place.
Main Military Formations: There are four major formations used by the Yautja, each consiting of two aspects of the Yautja, also commonly associated with the originating eldar or clan methods. The first is light and fast, the second is hard and armoured, the third is tactical and armoured, and the fourth is sly and mobile.
The light and fast approach is often used in raids, initiation hunts and where heavy support is unavailable; therefore the technique is usually combined with ‘portals’ which allow far greater mobility and escape routes. Open topped skimmers are common in this formation, allowing the Yautja far greater movement, but at increased risk.
The hard and armoured method is used in honour hunts against powerful foes, each Yautja is equipped with full body armour, plasma blasters (Hurls small plasma bolts, equivialant to a bolter, or in a shoulder miu linked form equivalent to a bolt pistol), a variety of close combat weapons (Depending on personal style) and other survival equipment. Fully enclosed land based vehicles are used instead of the open skimmers, provides far greater protection, and equipped with assault ramps which can deliver the Yautja right into the middle of the fight.
The tactical and armoured formation is used mainly by the military forces, designed to provide enough fire power to disable opponents heavy armour, and provide covering fire which can cope with withering tides of foes. A unit commonly lead by an eldar and religious leader will form the back bone to the force, and counter any assaults which manage to reach a danger zone, this unit will be deployed via a armoured land vehicle.
The final formation, the sly and mobile tactic is rarely used, mainly because its main body is formed of Yautja highly skilled and trained with ranged weaponary, primary high calibre sniper rifles, few Yautja fit this role, not because inability, but because it does not appeal to them and fuss few follow the path of the ranger, many prefer the honour of close combat. The formation is supported by mounted Yautja with lances, and medium armoured Yautja with either a close combat focus role, or close ranged support fire role, commonly transported in a medium armoured skimmer with a large array of defensive technology and ranged weaponry to support the cargo.
There is a additional formation, but is not used in war, or hunts, it is a formation used to settle tribal/clan disputes, honour fights or feral encounters. It comprises of entire force without armour, or advanced weaponry, just the Yautja and basic equipment, and often use captured beasts.
Armoury: The Yautja have a wide armoury of equipment available to them, built over centuries for their specific tasks. This armoury is almost universal among the Yautja planets, with only minor variations depending on clan and eler based preferences.
Helmet: The Yautja body armour usually consists of a highly advanced helmet. There a many helmet patterns and designs, usually customised by the user. The helmets have several visual frequencies, infra red, ultraviolet, thermal, and many others. The helmet also has targeting and tracking abilities which enhance the Yautja skills, and interfaces with the miu linked weaponry.
Body Armour: Awu'asa in the Yautja language is made up of a series of interfacing plates which can be customized by the user for specific capabilities.
The standard/initial piece is a chest plate, this piece covers the top half of the chest and provides the starting frame work for any additional plates or equipment. The chest piece alone offers low protection, but provides much greater movement.
The many additions to this system is a full torso plates, enclosing the entire torso in multiple advanced plates which offer high levels of protection. There are also pauldrons, wrist guards, tassets, leg plates, boots, gauntlets, and many additional pieces which can be interchanged to provide varying armour capabilities and movement.
The highest level of armour available to a Yautja is a fully enclosed plate body armour, the thickness is almost double the standard full body suit, but provides protection equal to tactical dreadnaught armour, these suits are rarely used as they are too heavy and greatly impede on the movemtn capabilities of a Yautja.
The standard enclosed suit offers protection on a similar level to power armour, without the additional ablative ceramite protection.
There are multiple attachments which can be added to a Yautja chest plate, but often impeding restrictions which limit the capability to add additional plates to the suit. One such attachment is a cloaking device, the cloaking device is attached the initial chest plate and provides the Yautja with active camouflage. Only pieces of armour which can be combined with the cloaking device is a helmet, pauldrons, boots, gauntlets, wrist guards and light ablative armour on legs, lower chest and arms.
Weaponry: Arm Blades, Wrist Blades, Combi Sticks, Power Gloves, Laser Net, Net Gun, Plasma Blasters, Shuriken, Spear gun, swords, whips, flamers, glaives, solvent, and self destruct devices, there are many others but are often just variations of the primary weaponry. (More detail coming later).
Wrist Blades: ki'cti-pa in the Yautja language is the most common weapon found on any predator, nearly every predator has one, if they don’t they would most likely have the larger version Arm blades. The wrist blades is two pairs of retractable blades (one pair for each hand) that can range from 12-18 inches long and are very durable. Like most Yautja equipment, they can be customized on a large scale, size, serrated, reversed edge, double edge, heated, are the most common customizations.
Arm Blades: Are just a much larger version of the wrist blades, but suffer from an inability to retract due to their size.
Power Glove: The power glove is a gauntlet attachment which greatly increases the user’s strength, similar to a power fist. Upon impact the power glove releases a blast of kinetic energy which can smash through thick walls, armoured vehicles and battle armour.
Net gun: The net gun can come in two forms, a small wrist mounted weapon, or a larger two ahdn held weapon. Both fires a razor sharp net which constricts with brutal force. Only difference is size of the net.
Whip: The most common whip used by the Yautja is a long and segmented. If used correctly it can wrap it self around the opponent and when pulled taut has the ability to cut most opponents in half. There are many variations of the whip.
Combi sticks: Are a retractable spear usually with three retractable sections on each side. The combi sticks can be customized and are one of the preferred weapons by most predators, second to the wrist blades.
Plasma Blasters: There are three versions of the plasma blaster, a wrist mounted version, a shoulder mounted version and a two handed version. Each fire similar plasma blasts, the wrist and shoulder versions are the most common as they do not require hands to use and thus frees the predator to use other weapons. The two handed version has far greater range and can be fired rapidly.
Other Notes: Sorry if its a bit messed up, basically be coppied straight from a notepad document and added in the bolds
.
Anyways ill be finishing this soon i hope, then ill be making an army with it. Got a few army ideas floating around, either go full kroot mercenaries (Well they look like predators, just need a face change and some extra fingers), or go space wolfsor chaos (have all the Predators in armour, remove back packs, modify helmet and use greenstuff to make the dreadlocks, then conversions for weapons etc) or go with an eldar version, using lots of striking scorpians.

Any how hears my start on them, i didnt come up with this list, a friend sent me a blank one, dont know where he got it from, but ive filled it in and here we are.
