So i was looking tohguh the collectors section and i noticed these bad boys

And i tohught it was a shame they didn't have rules anymore.....and that brings us to my madness of tyring to get these orks into a serious game. Here is what i have. I'm unsure on the pts for the orks it self as well as some of the orky spellings but it seems ok to me so far. Opiosn woulb aprichiated

Guitar Boyz - 15pts per model

WS BS S T W I A Ld Sv
4 2 3 4 1 2 2 7 6+
Unit Composition: 5-10 boyz
Unit type - Infantry
Wargear:
Guitar, Choppa
Options:
The entire mob may take:
Stikkbombs - +1 pts per modal
‘eavy armour - +3 pts per modal
Characters:
Upgrade a Guitar boy to a Guitar Nob - +10 pts
He may replace his Guitar for a “Bigga Guitar” at +10 pts
He may replace his Choppa for a big choppa at +5 pts
He may take a boss pole at + 5pts
Transport: A unit of Guitar boyz may take a Trukk as a dedicated transport. However if they do, he swaps it’s big shoota for a Noise makea.

Special rules:
Mob Rule, Furious Charge, Waaagh! – (See ork codex)
“Hit dat string ‘arda!” – Such is the noise that Guitar boyz make that they effect how other orks fight, inspiring them to a greater Whaaagh! All untis with the special rule “Mod Rule” within 18” of a Guitar boy or Guitar nob count as having 1 more boyz then they actually have (so a mod of Ork boys with 7 in the unit will count as having a unit of 8 when using mob rule”.
Guitars – Guitar boyz love noise and have found a way to make it into a weapon. There is little way to protect against the loud sounds that the guitars generate. A modal armed with a Guitar may shoot it during the shooting phase with the following profile;
Range Str AP Special
12” 3 2 Assault 2
Bigga Guitar – This Nob has learned that a guitar is loud, so 2 must be louda! This Nob has stuck 2 of them together to create a more powerful mosie. A modal armed with a Bigga Guitar may shoot it during the shooting phase with the following profile;
Range Str AP Special
12” 3 2 Assault 4
Noise Makea – A noise makea is a makeshift loud speaker that can extend the range and nosie of a anything. Guitar boys use them to make their guitars even more powerful. If a Trukk has moved at Crusing speed or less then 1 Guitar boy or Guitar Nob may opt to use the Noise makea instead of shooting this turn (note they have to be within the Trukk at the start of the shooting phase to do this). A Guitar boy or Guitar Nod using the noise maker may extend his range to 24” instead of 12”. If the rest of the squad fires then they must shoot at the same target that the Noise maka user targeted.

I think they're pretty awsome. I have always been fond of those models and have on many occasions attempted to make rules for them. So I think you did a pretty good job on showing the affects of the guitars, but maybe instead of that profile, they could have a Sonic Blasters profile.

The Rabid Gerbil offers a couple of ideas?

Pick attack: perhaps a handfull of razer sharp picks can be spun at the enemy in short range to somhow work like a frag grenade?

Assassian: Perhaps you can have a cool Estaban like figure that might work with stealth and choak it's enemies with a string. D string, for death... or would it be a custom serioursly heavy metal W string for Waaaaggggghhhhhhhh!!!

An alternate idea, they may not just play loud but the music itself could be some kind of psykic attack?

You could have Roadie squigs?!

Earsplitting rule? in keeping with the idea of random orcness and balanced gameplay perhaps as they play there is some small chance that nearby orcs have their brains completely melt and be taken off the board. After all, they don't have a lot of spare brain cells to start with!

Modivating troops or affecting leadership rolls makes sense, history backs you up there as the drummer boys in the civil war or bugals were playing certian rythms to signal certian menovers.
