Magnetizing a Baneblade

Baneblades have two main turret options and two side sponson options I believe. Is it possible to magnetize these so that I can change the tank to the configuration that I want? I magnetized my Tau Crisis suit weapons and that went well and I would feel bad about dropping $95 for a model and permanetly gluing it to one option. Thank you.

I bought a Banblade from ebay that had the turret pre-magnetized.

Seems the guy has used magnets which are the same diameter as the turret, and just stuck them onto the appropriate bits - seems to do the trick as far as swapping the main gun goes :)

Now I just have to work out what I'm doing with the rest of the more shoddy conversions which have been done on it - I'm sure I'll figure out something :D

It's fine - the baneblade itself is pretty much just basecoated with a colour scheme that I can work with - the defiler arms growing out of the side of it are easily fixed - as is the bright pink imperial tank commander stood on the back of it.

When I finally get round to sorting it out - I'll print some before and after photo's!

The reason I got it was that of the models it came with, other than the Baneblade there is only one other plastic model painted - the rest is just undercoated and all the painted metal models I can strip and repaint with a decent paintjob.

Then there's the Chaos terminator with the Orc head - but we won't go there!

I think the crappy painting put people off though cos I got about ÂŁ4-500 worth of stuff for ÂŁ120 - well worth it in my book :D
