Hey y'all I am kind of a n00b when it comes to Dark Eldar, Wyches in particular.
So I want to run this list by y'all and get your opinion on the build and ways to improve it while not going to far beyond it... limited funds and all.

HQ
Archon (not sure how to equip him)

Elite
4 Kabalyte Trueborn with Blasters
Venom (Splinter Cannon, Night shields.)

Troops
5 Wyches (Hekatrix with Agonizer, not sure if I should take an additional weapon upgrade)
Venom (Splinter Cannon, Night Shields)

Heavy
Ravager (Dark Lances, Night Shields)

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Archon (not sure how to equip him)

You want to keep him cheap and effective. A common build for him is w/agon, SF and possibly CD.

Elite
4 Kabalyte Trueborn with Blasters
Venom (Splinter Cannon, Night shields.)

4 Kabalyte Trueborn with Blasters
Venom (Splinter Cannon, Night shields.)

4 Kabalyte Trueborn with Blasters
Venom (Splinter Cannon, Night shields.)

These are great but you might want to drop one and have a unit of 4 Incubi in a venom w/2xSC to ride with the Archon.

Troops
5 Wyches (Hekatrix with Agonizer, not sure if I should take an additional weapon upgrade)
Venom (Splinter Cannon, Night Shields)

5 Wyches (Hekatrix with Agonizer, not sure if I should take an additional weapon upgrade)
Venom (Splinter Cannon, Night Shields)

5 Wyches (Hekatrix with Agonizer, not sure if I should take an additional weapon upgrade)
Venom (Splinter Cannon, Night Shields)

5 Wyches (Hekatrix with Agonizer, not sure if I should take an additional weapon upgrade)
Venom (Splinter Cannon, Night Shields)

On the whole I'm not fond of wyches in units of 5. You'll find them dying very quickly. Have units of 7-8 in a raider. Take a heks w/agon. WW is optional depending on points. Some people take HW grens to keep them flexible but that's optional. You have plenty of anti-tank.

Heavy
Ravager (Dark Lances, Night Shields)
Ravager (Dark Lances, Night Shields)
Ravager (Dark Lances, Night Shields)

These are great, probably don't need the night shields though as they're kept far back.

What mug said for the most part. I think Incubi wouldn't be necessary. The Archon Mug kitted out was exactly what I would have said. He works just as well with wyches though, which do need to be around 7-8 models total. 5 just isn't quite enough to sustain combat long enough to win out. They do make good speed bumps though, meaning they're intended to die, but buy you some time. If you do go w/ just wyches, combat drugs are a must so he can keep up etc. If incubi, I wouldn't bother w/ CD since the incubi won't also get the benefits, but I would give him a Phantasm Grenade Launcher(PGL) instead, since incubi don't have grenades.

Night shield vs flickerfields, the eternal debate. My take on it, FF are dummy proof. They get a 5++ save to everything. 1/3 chance to ignore everything that glances or pen. NS, require a little more finesse since your range is 36", and most other vehicles ranges are 48", meaning you're not going to be getting out of range of whatever you're shooting at. You may make it out of range of other things, but if you whiff, or don't prevent it from shooting, you're a sitting duck. NS work best on things that are going to kite and stay long range, not get up close.

why would combat drugs be a must to keep up with wyches? and night shields could be useful against melta vets and wych units of 5 man are just a easy kill point as they very rarely hold something up for more than a turn

I probably shouldn't have said 'must', but it helps in the event that the combat drug roll is a 1, b/c the wyches can't use it if the Archon attached to them doesn't have CD b/c they must move at the speed of the slowest model, and he would only be allowed 1 dice to their 3. That's really the only downside to not taking them.

The Archon w/ agoniser doesn't benefit from the +1S if the wyches get it though.

If they roll a 6 though.....2 pain tokens, since the Archon is an independant character, he gets one, and the unit he's attached to gets 1. For that though, I guess I would take CD even if he was attached to incubi.

I never roll 6's though... ever, when it comes to my combat drugs. I think it's my dice trying to give my opponent a fighting chance.

i think there are too many tiny wych squads add some kabalites drop a trueborn squad all blasters is for the most part a huge target so spread the blasters out some more, i run a strictly kabal or strictly wych list so i see where you are coming from. :)
