I am quite new to 40k and what not. So I thought I might post up my 1000 point Black Templars Army List. Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas, are all appreciated!

This is how I play my army: Move at Cruising from turn 1 with Rhinos and pop smoke. Land Speeders range ahead and take care of heavy tanks and infantry that would pose a threat to my army. Vindicator is able to kill almost anything and the Predator is my long range. When I can assault my opponents main forces I'm guaranteed to cause lots of damage. Assault Ownage (Emperors Champ and squaddies), Fast Units (Rhinos and Lone Speeders), Brute Killing Power (Your whole assault force and Vindicator), Long Range (Predator).

Or in simplified terms.....move everything forward...except the Predator. Army does really well in annihilation, objectives, and capture and control. Pitched battle is this armies favorite deployment. Dawn of War deployment....don't mind. Spearhead deployment doesn't matter since you got Rhinos
Comments, Suggestions, Critique, are all welcome!

Looks like it'll do you good. Have you considered swapping the MM/HF speeders for Typhoons? They're a little bit cheaper but I think they offer you some more punch than a MM. Those meltas are really only good at close range and with the maneuverability of the typhoons you can pretty easily get at side armor. Plus they're good at plinking marines.

Looks solid though. I honestly don't know what you'd be facing against. I haven't played a game below 2k in a long time. I forgot how they go.

I never really have considered using the Typhoons at all. I'll give them a try and share my results later. I mostly find a need using MM/HF against tank heavy armies, though. Thanks.
