It appears that GW have rereleased the old metal Lother Sea Guard.

And in Warhammer, the classic Lothern Sea Guard miniatures are back. The Sea Guard combine the best aspects of Archers and Spearmen - as effective at range as they are in combat. There are two new sets of Sea Guard, a command set and a standard set. With a command set and a couple of standard packs you'll be able to field an effective unit of Sea Guard. Alternatively, you can use the sets to bolster the plastic Sea Guard from The Island of Blood set. There's also a new Bitz Pack available to advance order - Lothern Sea Guard Shields. With this pack you can equip your Spearmen, Silverhelms and other High Elf units with the same shield designs to create a cohesive looking force. You can use the heraldry on the shields as the basis for adding a back-story and extra character to your units.

What I find odd is that it is a release of metal Sea Guard just after the box set released plastic Sea Guard. I just think sticking with the plastic range may have been better in the long run. Especially with many of the Specials now moving to 10 man plastic sets, this release seems like a step in the opposite direction.
