Hi everybody,
This is the start of a new army for me. With the advent of the Betrayal at Calth boxed set I finally decided to take the plunge and start a 30K army.
I already have a pretty big 40K Ultramarines army so I thought if I started a XIIIth Legion Force I could still use the 30K models in 40K whilst the army was progressing.
I should say however that I am a slooooooow painter! This means this project log may not get updated often but thought it would be a good place to seperate my Heresy stuff.
So I thought I would start small so I have started on some HQ choices.
Limited Edition Praetor:

This guy arrived from Forge World in a bit of a state so decided to use him as a test mini. I swapped the head out as I didn't like the one that comes with the kit and have had to do some pretty extensive green stuff work on him but actually pretty happy with him so far.
MkIV Command Squad:

These guys have been both lots of fun but also very fiddly to paint. Honestly can't wait to get them finished for both of those reasons, the standard on the standard bearer is giving me a bit of a head ache but almost finished so will post pics soon.
MkIV Assault Squad:

Gotta do annother 5 of these for them to be game legal but planning to come back to these.
Hopefuly with have the HQ choices finished this week and then the plan is start working through the BaC plastics.
