Now that Bloodhound has gotten the mini I can finally post pics of it. Here is the final paint job on the Mini Exchange model I painted up for him. Comments and thoughts are always appreciated.

Its my favorite GW mini and you did an outstanding job of painting it. The scroll work on his cloak is exceptional. As a matter of fact, you deserved to beat me by that 1 little point in the painting contest!:wink:

That is brilliant mate. Bloodhound is one very lucky boy. The face, the sword, the cape it all looks bloody marvelous.

bloodhound was amazed by it on sat, he was showing it to everyone and anyone who came in the store. i saw it and asked him if he was going to use it in his army or just display it, i think it would be sacraligious to use a mini that is so damn good in a game incase it got chipped or something.

Thanks 40, that is cool to hear. I knew he liked it from the pm he sent me (said so lol) but I didn't realize he liked it that much. Glad I brought a smile to his face

its a great model and a fantastic paint job. the face and sword in particular are superb.

one -very very picky- criticism....the tubes/pipes on the model just dont look....right.

cccp: you aren't the first to say that. I thought about going with chevrons or something similar but in the end decided to leave it as is. I spent far longer on it than I intended already

40: that's cool. Nothing is more satisfying to me than seeing (or in this case hearing) someones positive reaction to my skills as a painter. I love the game for sure but the modeling and painting aspects are by far my favourite.
