Me and a friend of mine were both talking one day about how many codices currently have special ops/stealth characters being put in and we started wondering who'd be the best in a one on one fight, fluffwise and gamewise.

So far there's these characters as candidates:

Boss Snikrot
Scout Sergeant Telion
Sly Marbo
Callidus Assassin
Death Leaper
The Decaptitator

I don't know if there are any other ones considered since they're sort of ambiguous so I'll put other in case there's one I missed.

My vote goes to Snikrot, seeing as how in game his re-rolls w/S5 are dead killly while fluffwise he's the terror of armaggedon and could likely shred most of these guys in their sleep.

well marbo isnt one to be sniffed at, the fact that he can appear anywhere within a inch of an ememy, with his snipper pistol and demo charge and posioned knife (2+ to wound) and with int 5 he gets first go at snikrot. and the assassin, also strikes first with ws 5 and 5 attacks and no saves what so ever from the C'tan phase sword. also both marbo and the assassin have a added bonus of being used on there own, and not haveing to deployed with a squad

Fluffwise I'd vote for Deathleaper because he got into the governor's palace and assinated all the officials, without detection from the automatic guns or guards. Not even Snikrot would get away with that:grin:.

I agree. Although Deathleaper snuck into a palace, Marbo snuck into a Stompa and blew it up, as well as destroying a large portion of a tau armoured column without them even noticing. Oh, and he hunts Lictors and then eats 'em (Well, maybe not that last bit).
