I would. I was thinking of figuring out how to do up some Scout Armor. I'm 6'6" so with boots I could pull off a short scout.


I'd love to do something like this for halloween and conventions.

Im a blacksmith by trade so and i got into the business with the hope of one day earning a living through making weapons and armour for re-enactors and collectors. Thats probably what draws me to it, i would never have the nerve to where it, but a helmet to sit on my desk would be awesome.

That armor was made by professional costume / effects / animatronics makers. The rest of there stuff is amazing.

I have been doing some sketch designs about making power armor, but I haven't started the skulpt of it. I have few ideas going around on the best way to produce it.

Maybe metal shell filled with plastic. Just knock the metal to shape, and pour resin into it.

Yer dirge i think that sounds like the best way to do it, by making the outer casing from sheet metal you would have a durable surface and the plastic resin would stop it flexing with the added bonus that it wont weigh a ton. (its powered for a reason, HA)
