Correct, You would have to ally with them as an Ultramarines detachment. But I do like the list. Just make sure to pick your fights with the command squad, they can still die to enough concentrated fire quite easily. I wiped a bike command squad with 2 9-man Tac squads the other day, his squad was about 225 points. Gone with one round of fire from guns that were out of range of everything else anyways.

Lol, 32 bolter shots and 6 HB shots with Imp Fist CTs averages just over 3.5 bike marines a turn. But when has statistics ever worked :p. He did have an unfortunate outflank result however, hence 'make sure you pick your fights' (I don't recommend outflanking with a unit so vital).

He also had 2 TMLs Land Speeders, which were actually better than I thought they'd be. With their movement they could always find something to shoot at while I couldn't retaliate with dedicated AT fire (he stayed out of sight).

Maybe escorting your Command Squad with your Storm Talon could be a good tactic, it'd make sure your CS survives till a turn were a nice charge could tip the battle (If placed correctly for their turn of arrival). That's my opinion however.

Statistics placed me at killing 4 in a turn. All I'm saying is that placement matters, don't get them shot at, because they die like a standard marine biker to small arms fire but they cost a lot more than a standard marine biker. I do love Command Squads though, but don't jink them (most of the time), while hilarious a 3+ armor/3+ invul/3+ cover does nothing more than give you one 3+ save.

With standard bikers jinking can be very nice but just remember that your bikes want to shoot and if you jink you are essentially worthless at shooting the next turn. So you have to deal with the big bad heavy hitters some other way if you're jinking.

As for Telion, I don't have my book with me so I could be wrong, but I know he has CT: Ultramarines, and I don't think you can blend Chapter Tactics in a squad (since he's a SGT, not an IC who is on his own). Correct me if I am wrong though, I'll check my book tonight if I can remember.
