Ok, So I'm planning a Table with my Mate; And I've got it down to 2 options!
I'm Showing you lot this, Because frankly; If I had to choose Scenary Advice from Him or Heresy - I'll Take Heresy! :3 (No offence if you read this James, But Heresy knows best )

Design 1

Source - http://www.amera.co.uk/product.php?range=z

Here's the design on paper, If you can see it clearly.

Number means as follows;
•1 - Extended Admin Block
26cm x 17cm x 38cm
•2 - Admin Block Extension
26cm x17 cm x 18cm
•3 - Demolished Buildings
Various
•4 - City Block Ruins
19cm x 25cm x 25cm
•5 - Administration Block Ruins
26cm x 20cm x 25cm
•6 - HQ Block
21.5cm x 23cm x 26.5cm
•7 - Ministry Building
35cm x 35cmx 22cm
•8 - Modular Building (Looks like a Church to me)
With
Extra Floor
28cm x 24cm x 20cm

So to summarise that; It's;

•9 medium Buildings
•2 Large
•4 Completely Obliterated (On the verge of existence)

Costs for scenary: £135.34

Design 2

As you can CLEARLY see, from my Diagram: There is;

Aegis Defence Line

Sky landing Pad

Imperial Sector

Barricades and Walls

Moon Scape

Honoured Imperium

Battlefield Accessories

Totalling £108.55
- You should roughly be able to work it out
-L Shapes are Buildings, Explosions are moonscapes, Everything is pretty obvious.

So take your Pick!

It's all up to you now. :)

I agree, the best option is 1 and 2 :p

For me it depends how much work you're going to put in. Option 1 looks like a cooler layout, but the buildings are very droll, they will definitely need more detail adding to make them look good.

The GW stuff looks like the better option to me, but it depends how much work you want to put into it :)

(I rarely play so I'm offering purely aesthetic advice I'm afraid )

Heh, Cheers Pimp (Varakir ) I'm also kinda feeling number 2, Got gaming and Looking purposes ... With GW Stuff there is less required in the Painting, Because the Models are wicked.. But I do LOVE option 1's Layout..

So I Shall have to confer with my mate, afterall, It's going in his house, and he'll be paying Half of the cost etc. :p

In return for your Advice, Pimp; I'll Share some back-

PAINT YOUR GOD DAMNED RHINO:ireful2:

Thanks for your vote skar

Goal achieved. Found someone who paints parts of a Warhammer model you can't even see.

But yes, that's progress

I'm sure if i ever start this table, It'll be EVEN slower.. Considering I'm trying to start Tyranids soon.

Why can't you do #2 with the Amera buildings set?
I prefer layout 1, But it'd be too expensive to do with GW stuff...

And I don't wanna mix 'em, Cause they're so different in design.

Cheers for your votes guys.

Me  I don't enjoy my painting though! I find it a chore :(
Cheers pimp. :3

Back on topic; It looks like it'll be option 2, seeing as it's about 11 - 1

I voted 1, however it's mostly that table 2 won't be very balanced to play on, we have used the skyshield platform and unless carefully placed and quite central it is a tactical stupidity in that it warps how people move units around the table too much.
I would suggest that if you can make 2 modular so you can move the skyshield around then it would give you not only more options but also avoid you getting pissed off with one piece of scenery dominating, we eventually sold ours in frustration.

Yeah, i was over my mates today, to do chemistry work, but we had a small discussion of it, And I'm quite keen to change the U shaped design, and have the Landing Pad as more of a Centre piece.

Thanks for the helpful input everyone :D I have no idea when this'll happen; My mate LOVES playing at the GW; But I'm kinda bored of their Tables.. There's only 1 table for 40k, which isn't modular.. So it's quite annoying.. I'd like one more local, to differ things.
