i can't see how this is braking forum rules. We are writing a list of models and then summing up their points without explicitly listing them. See previous posts.

I'm using tyranids as an example because it's the only one I know off hand. Zoanthropes. Two warp charges each. No upgrades. Single model units. So listing their points cost here as part of this would be a violation of forum rules since it is effectively itemized. If you want to add up the total for every unit in the codex combined, that's fair enough. But just be sure, everyone that is, to keep individual model and upgrade points out of it. We don't permit that in the army lists section and we won't permit it here.

I emailed GW and described this discussion and asked them about their view on it. This is their reply in short:

"I want to say that this is absoloubtly fine to do... ...The general premise however is as long as people know that what you are doing is unofficial and you arent making any money from it you should be fine."

The part in the middle was a link to their legal site and some info how to use it. Red it and could not found anything about what we do here against GW policy.

So come on! Space Marines, CSM and others. Your average WC cost!
