I have modeled a fair bit, transferring parts from different sets to get different looks, using greenstuff for small add-ons and other things, but I was wondering where do people buy plastic card? I have seen some beautiful conversions with the stuff and I was considering a scratch built rhino for a first project.

I was also wondering what people use for small chain and fine mesh, and where to get both of these. Please keep in mind I am Canadian so stores found here would be greatly appreciated.

@ bitsandkits

I looked through your site and noticed that you sell everything I am looking for, but a couple items are not in stock (milliput, and fine chain). When will they be in stock?
I also noted that your plasticard selection states the thickness, but I could not find the dimensions of each sheet.
I was wondering if you had any chain that was a little more course than 24 links per inch, which sounds quite small. The reason for my question is that I have a looted furriso on my workbench that will eventually be grappling onto an assault marine and I do not think chain that fine would hold him up.

Wouldn't the shipping of sheets of plastic be expensive from the UK to Canada? I was hoping to go somewhere local to avoid this. Thank you bitsandkits for your site, but does anyone know of a canadian store that sells these products?

Ok firstly the milliput is back in stock, the chain however is a ongoing issue, the plasticard sheets are about 11 inches by 8 inches or about the same size as an A4 sheet of paper.
Our postage and packing is £1.80 to Canada regardless of the size or weight of the order and free if you spend over £22 in a single order.
