These are scratch built. Some stiff wire or strips of plastic, glue and an optional pin vice if you wish to sink them into the wooden blocks shown is all that's required.

You can find it at a hardware/lumber supply store. Just look for the rectangular 'chicken' wire (or whatever its called) and cut it to size.

bah, I was hoping for a prefab.

I make way too much stuff from scratch ans was hoping to save time. but my defense laser will be badass none the less, despite the fact that I didn't use a hamster ball.

ah chicken wire (this city boy didn't stop to think what that was, I just pictured plain wire.) I now realize that it is a wire mesh with a size of about 1cm.
