I've been looking at doing a pre heresy army as my next army (probably thousand sons) and while brousing the GW website I came upon these puppies:

What I wanted to know was - where did those shoulder pads come from? They'd be perfect for pre heresy terminators/dreads and I've never seen them before. If the model was painted I would have assumed they were green stuff or plasticard.

I know that I can't get bitz orders any more but I would still like to know.

EDIT: Image tags didn't work so I've left links.

Remember, bwbits.com still does sprue and bits orders. It may not be GW direct, but at least they've got the goods. I've always been a big fan of the more Romanesque shoulders on Terminators, rather than the more classic rounded pads that they come with. They're not terribly hard to make, but the Inquisitor range pads are much more detailed than anything you can do easily with plasticard and cut down power armour shoulder pads.
