meat grinder, kill team, and my personal favourite, Gladitorial Assault.
Basically normal warhammer rules, smaller battlefield and only use HQ choices and Walkers. Sooo much fun, even if it is just inquisitor light...You learn fun things. Like Marneus really shouldn't attack Eldrad...ever...
Also, that Asrubel Vect is an ass..
Of the Standard Missions I'd have to say that I like Recon best. As a Blood Angel Successor Chapter my army tends to excel in missions that require rapid movement and never complains if the enemy has to come closer.
Out of any mission though, I'd have to say that the Carnage Scenario is my favorite - it's a mission that involves four players, each setting up in one of the four corners of the table. The objective is to have the closest model (yes, model, not scoring unit) to the objective at the center of the table when the game ends. The mission uses Night Fight on the first turn as well as Deep Strike, Infiltrate and Random Game Length (if I remember right). Each time I've played this mission it's been a blast no matter which army I'm using or who my opponents are. I highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in breaking away from the norm.
We hardly ever play scenarios around here. 99% of the games we play are of the "lets beat each other senseless" persuasion. I guess the "pitched battle"/"bloodbath"/"kick each other until someone surrenders" games are my favorite, though-- simple and fun.
I like Bunker Assault, with me as the defender, or Meat Grinder with me as the attacker. I like Bunker Assault because my army super defensive, and it's just plain fun to rip apart my friends so called "unbeatable" chaos army:grin:. I like Meat Grinder because it's got that D-Day feel when your troops charge towards the enemy lines and don't stop coming:grin:
