What would you all like to see GW focus on when it comes to LOTR?

Personally I'm still craving for a Last Alliance themed Supplement, if not that at least a Last Alliance themed release.

I'm not hugely fussed about a siege supplement for War of the Ring, seeing as I'm not a big fan of it anyway, but a map based campaign for SBG could be cool. Hell we've even considered doing our own a few times down here.

They definitely need to focus more on the SBG. It is the superior game system by far and pretty much everyone into the LotR side of this hobby knows that, it's just GW don't seem to realise it.

I'd like to have just 1 book with the stats for every single model that has been added to the range, like amdur, arathorn, gildor etc, as I'm sick of trawling through WD's and resource books looking for the stats of characters who have models, but seem to have no rules at all for them or are hidden so deep in books that you'll never find them.

and more plastics would never go amiss, we need a box for high elves similar to the galadhrim box set (8 sword, 8 spear, 8 bow, 8 separate shields) and a Numenor box set (8 sword, 8 spear, 8 bow, 16 separate shields), a proper numbered easterling box set and Haradrhim box set as well (both breaking the 33% bow rule meaning a part of your box set is useless and wasted money)

some plastic elite units would be nice as well, a box of 12 citadel guard, khazad guard, iron guard, serpent guard, dunedain/grey company etc etc would save us allot of time and money and clean up the LOTR section of the GW site, which is rather a mess really.

plastic siege engines as well, catapults and trebuchets in metal are nightmares to build, and fall apart too easily.

Definitely agreed on the 1 rulebook for everything. This would probably top my list of wants to see from GW in LotR.

Elite boxed sets of 12 is an interesting idea. That'd be nice to see too.

same, although a box set of 24 men armed with spears, shields and heavy armour would likely not happen, although possible if they perhaps did a set with 8 differently sculpted rangers of arnor (or allow warriors of arnor to have bows), 8 spear and sheild, and allow warriors of arnor to have hand weapons for the last 8, that way you keep the balance that most 24 man box sets have while introducing some variation.

OR make it a 12 man box set like I suggested before for other units with spear and shield, that would work quite nicely

They did it with the Morrannon orcs box set, 24 orcs all with shields and spear/sword, i dont see why they couldnt do it wiv the warriors of arnor, either that or they make the majority in the box as warriors of arnor the others can be rangers.
yeah but half the morranon orcs did have swords not spears, which sorta balances out, a whole high defense box set with spears and the FS of arnor would be a little OTT

I agree, 24 warriors of Arnor all with the same equipment in one box is way too OTT and wouldn't ever happen anyway. I'd much prefer to see Arnor get some more focus and give the warriors options for hand weapons and bows.

If Warriors of Arnor are ever given plastics I'd start an army straight away, they're tough and the minis are really nice, I just can't afford an all metal army .

Ok what if they put 12 warriors of Arnor and 12 rangers of Arnor in a box that would surely be more NON-OTT, and it would be great for the Arnor warriors to be able to take bows aswell. I quite like the shield/spear combo as is, but bows would be great to.

if they did 12 rangers and 12 arnor that could work, but they need to make sure they still stick to the 33% bow limit, not model all 12 arnor rangers with bow, otherwise it again makes some models useless, but it can allow those of us who only count model modeled with bows out as being armed with bows for the limit and for shooting.

I personally would just prefer updated rules to allow Warriors to use bows aswell as hand weapons and a boxed set of 8,8,8 released.

Plastic Warriors of Dol-Amroth foot soldiers is also still very high on my 'What I would like to see' list.
