Ok here is some advise...... look through the BA lists and see what is going on, see what people like and what they are choosing and look through the tactics sections and then decide how you want your list to turn out. Also, are you planning on using all those HQs at once because NO! Way to many points.

Do you have the BA Codex?

I think after that, the questions you need to ask are
a) What sort of army do I want?
b) How soon do I want to be able to play

Looking at the list you posted, that seems quite varied. What do you want your army to do? And the ones you underlined wont make a playable army. So if you start off with just those units you really wont be able to play any games. I think the basic army has to be 1 HQ and 2 Troop choices. So perhaps your first models should comprise those.

It would have been a shorter list if you put what you didn't want to get.

First off, you can only take 2 HQ's under normal circumstances in a regular 40k game. So unless you are going right to apoc or just want one of each, you should narrow it down to just one or two hq's.

Second, the same applies with the elite's slot. You can only take 3 elite's in a normal 40k game, so narrow it down to what you like or what will work for your army build.

Third, the troops section is where you can load up. You are allowed up to 6 troop selections for a normal 40k game. So, you could add more there if you wished.

Fourth, Heavy support can have 3 selections and so can fast attack for the regular 40k games. You have every single heavy and fast attack and transport listed individually. Transports such as drop pods, rhinos and razorbacks are bought for individual troop selections. So, if you had say, 3 10 man tactical squads you could deploy them in rhinos or drop pods as a good choice. If you get those tactical squads in 5 man units then the razorback would be a fine choice.

This is were reading and studying the codex will help you understand the way the armies are build and deployed. If you don't already have the codex you want I suggest picking that up first before you get even a single model for that army. You should also check out the army list section here on heresy to get a good idea as to what some of the builds are looking like and see if any standout as one you might like to base yours off of.

The models underlined are ones I want to buy :)

Hey Heaven, i think your on a road to nowhere asking a forum whats best to buy for blood angels, mainly because there are no right or wrong answers other than "buy what YOU want". If money is no object then buy everything and then you can field an army of your choice based on what your opponent is likely to field,if you have limited funds then buy assault on black reach and any other minimum requirements to field an army, but people in the forums couldnt agree on which hand to wipe your ass with let alone what should be included in an army list.

Dante and Sanguinor are both very expensive and don't leave your army with much else points-wise.

If you want 1 or both of them, you're going for a jump pack army so you can leave the tanks off the list.

Dante makes Sanguinary Guard Troops. SG are expensive, but make for a very dangerous CC unit and can sport melta to help bust up armor. Dante also allows one unit to make a scatter-free Deep Strike. In a DoA army, melta is your main means to bust tanks. Scatter-free melta will almost guarantee a tank gets destroyed. Honor Guard can sport up to 4 meltas and gives you the essential FNP/FC bubble, so they make a perfect escort for Dante. Dante is decent in HtH, but without Eternal Warrior or any invulnerable better than a 4+ he really isn't built to tangle with high powered assault units. Harass with your HG and use H&R to avoid combat.

If you're interested in taking a Bloodwing army (Dante and Sanguinary Guard), I've been writing about it for a while now over on my blog.

Sanguinor is just a beat stick, and an expensive one at that. For the points, I'd say leave him alone and focus on having an actual army.

BA have tons of options, so just about anything would work. I'd recommend flipping through the Codex, picking out what you like, playing some test games, and see what you can glean from folks online.

Ive been reading about taking assault squads which have Jetpacks.
But then you take them in a rhino or something ?

Also with dante cant he be accompanied by Honour Guard and/or Sanguinary Guard ?

So does Independant char mean they can go with any squad ?

eg , 9 tactical marines , 5 honour guard , 5 sanguinary guard ?
not at the same time of course.

can assault marines go in a razorback ?

Dante is an IC, so he can join any unit (even before the game so they can arrive at the same time from reserves).

Models with jump packs can't ride in any transport besides the Storm Raven. Assault Marines can, however, remove their jump packs and ride in any transport.

Don't use the Sanguinor, he may look good, with ws8 and a 3+ invun. But it's a waste, he has no ranged weps, he isnt an IC, he will get shot to pieces qickly. I would recommend Dante and Meph though.

I heard some people talking about taking assault marines in a Razorback then them rushing 12" because they had jetpacks ?

And that there awsome for objective.

would you take sanguinary guard with out the Sanguinor ?

and if you did , do they need a special character with them or can they just run around as 5 men , like an assault squad ?

same with honour guard ?

The Sanguinor is not an IC, so he can't go with Sanguinary guard, also, when I said Dante and Meph, I didn't mean at the same time.

Well, BA vehicles (barring Land Raiders) are fast, so they can go up to 18". People put assault squads in Razorbacks because you get a 35 point discount on transports when you swap out the jump packs.

Sanguinary Guard look neat, but the small squad size and lack of invul save really hurts. They work best with Dante since he makes them Troops.

Sanguinor can never join a squad because he isn't an IC.

so maybe the start of my army could be :

Dante , With Honour Guard

Sanguinary Guard (Can they go in a vehicle) ?
Assault Squad (In a Razor Back) ?
Tactical Squad ( Maybe in a rhino) ?
