A Witch is a psyker, unless it's a Dark Eldar from the Wych Cult.
no the guy said it was from chaos. i thought it was just some cultest be the guy said it was an in game model.
What edition is it from then?
or are they going to put rouge guardsmen with the chaos space marines and make it some sort of army of chaos?

Well ok, in 40k a witch is a psyker but maybe in this game it's something else- but I presume it's just a chaos affliated psyker.

well they do exist. and rouge traders are given special writ of passages by the imperium to do what they do.

DeathScythe was taking the piss out of you because you consistently spell Rogue incorrectly, he wasn't doubting the existence of Rogue Traders but of Rouge Traders.
You realise it's only the guy who is doing an analysis of the video that calls them witches right? In the video itself they're referred to as Heretics.

Maybe- Cultists as a rule set have existed, most recently in the 2nd 3rd Edition CSM Codex (3.5 Codex), but I'm not sure if Chaos Cultists actually had specific models or if it was always a 'counts-as' situation.

Do not take the speculation thingy on Machinima for anything, yet. No info whatsoever has been given yet, and it is merely speculation. Poor speculation, in my honest opinion.
He is merely jumping to conclusions. That there is just a cultist. He reads to much into things, as is the way of many overly enthusiastic people. Though they most often spew doom and destruction, when it comes to video games

Because there a lot of Chaos Cultists in the 40k background? They're not in table top form, anymore, because they can easily be represented by Codex: Imperial Guard and don't really add enough differences to justify their own Codex.

Because in the background they're far more common than the Chaos Space Marines themselves...really don't bring up the Dawn of War series hoping to compare why one army has something that it does or doesn't have in the actual 40k game.

I think there is a design that looks similar to that heretic/cultist/witch but again it might only be that and the Dark Millennium's designers have been given free reign to design a cultist within a set of parameters designated by GW.

Cultisits and renegade forces are available from forgeworld and have army lists in the imperial armour books, but as baron says they are just rag tag imperial guard who have gone to the dark side, nothing special
