i was readin through the rulebook and found out that i cannot find what furious assault is. is that the same as furious charge? both the eldar and tau codices use this term and im very confused why they would change the name or not place it in the special rules section.

Where is it mentioned in the Tau codex?

I think it's on a vehicle upgrade option somewhere, or the the fancypants superethereal special character.

As for the rule, yes, furious charge equals furious assault. It's in a fair few FAQs.

Well, since Tau don;t have any walkers (freakin ironic) I'm guessing it's for the Space Pope.

Not that it matters since Tau special characters are fairly well useless, especially etherials
