Chaplain w/jump pack - 7 assault marines - melta bombs
5 Scouts with Snipers and ML

What weapon options would be best on the vehicles? And is the chaplain the best 100 point HQ to take?

Tac Squad - ML + Plasma Cannon - Razorback with TL Las
Dreadnought with assault cannon

Predator - TL Las
Predator - Autocannon, HB sponsons

chaplains are great makes squad fearless rerolls on the charge PW and invul whats not to like only good for a squad assaulting wshich he is orther choice is maybe lib with pack and maybe
force dome and avenger it looks viable just watch for armies like tau or chimeltas from guard u wont have mucch of an army after a round or 2 with meltas and railguns

maybe ditch a dread in favor of pred just for more armour and flexibility

for objective based games youll struggle not enough scofring units and there easy to drop below 50%


1 other thing always take cloaks on scouts there not a moving and shooting unit and the cover save pays for itself every time

i like the idea of adding 2 predators and a full tac squad with a razorback. drop the land raider and a dread, maybe even one scout squad if need be. that'd give you 3-4 scoring units and some long range fire power without the large singular target that the land raider tends to be, while adding some sturdy and mobile scoring units. good luck with what you decide.

Well Im going to take your advice about dropping the landraider, what do you think about the above revised list?


Keep in mind I'm mostly playing Ork foot sloggers with Trukks and a Chaos list that will include 2 DPs and 2 obliterators at 1000 points, if you could give some advice. You can count on them both going as cheesy as they can so have no mercy when designing the list. There will be gretchin screens, spreading wounds on nobz with different items, and as I said 2 DPs at 1000 points so as far as I'm concerned anything goes now.

how can you have a missile launcher and a plasma cannon in the tac squad? Maybe you meant plasma gun and missile launcher?

If you can, instead of TL Las Predator, run it autocannon and las sponsons. 3 great shots at up to 48" for 120 pts.

I've never run the predator with twin assault cannons and sponson heavy bolters, but for killin orcs it seems spot on. Anyone else comment on that please?

My mistake with the plasma cannon, wasnt paying attention. That makes sense. 2 las-cannons is better than 1 twin linked, plus i get the auto-cannon as well.
