Warlords Games released a set of downloadable painting guides for the four 'main' nations in their Boltaction line. I purchased myself the American guide, and it's honestly fantastic. For infantry, it takes you through both painting the model itself, as well as basing the model. In both cases, the end product seems easy to achieve and looks good. In addition to the infantry, there is a vehicle painting guide which includes information on painting the basic tank, chipping techniques and basic weathering. For a $1.50, it was a fantastic purchase. For anyone who wants to get into Boltaction, I would seriously considering picking one of these up.

To reiterate, they (Warlords Games) currently have guides for the 4 main faction, specifically the U.S. Army, British Army, German Wehrmacht and Soviet Army.

I believe the pricing for Brits is around a quid. No idea for Europeans.

If a $1.50 is too rich for your blood, some great free guides can be found here:

Not in any significant detail, but it does cover the colors you will need and what modifications you need to make to paint marines and airborne. Essentially just paint the Marines up green and the airborne with OD patches, or something to that effect.

Edit: At some point I imagine they'll throw up some different units, but that'll probably be contingent on how well these sell.
