I just hope being pushed through all these creators and mediums doesn't destroy the game, as it usually does. GW tends to throw their games from place to place to keep with their strict rules, which can really ruin them. Of course, nothing will compete with Elder Scrolls online if and when it's created. If it's a fraction of Oblivion it will own all.
Bah I'm just waiting for an MMO to create mounts we can fight from.
Is it really that hard?
Evil is the way fowards I agree, though I'm not sure if I want to concentrate on a goblin shaman or a Chaos somethingorother. If you can mutate and wander around with tentacles waving I may have to side with the latter...
I am a crazy online game player, Ive played them all pretty much. 2 things I can garuntee you...
1. The game will cost $50
2. After the first "free" ( free? you paid $50 ) you will be charged 14.95 a month minimum to play.
To me this is no problem, but to alot it isnt feasible. It is being created by the same people who made Dark Age of Camelot, which I played for years. This is a good, and bad thing. Good: DAoC was a great game, best PVP game available... Bad: DAoC was a class/realm balancing act that would crumble as soon as one thing went wrong, they added classes that were overpowered when compared to old, and slowly the game began to fail.
I was kind of disappointed when I discovered that all of the Chaos-themed characters serve Tzeentch. Nothing against Tzeentch, but with four classes per affiliation, I assumed that one of each of the classes would be devoted to a different Chaos God. A Khorne Beserker, a Tzeentch Magus, a Nurgle Beastman Shaman, a Slaanesh (agile fighter - "Acolyte," or something). Variety is a good thing.
Warhammer Online is still shaping up well though. I might try my hand at a Dwarven Runepriest, or something.
