Vampire Counts [2400 points]

I've been thinking about doing an undead horde for ages now. I really the the idea the Harryhausen esqe skeletons roaming across the land. I really want to push that Horde of death kinda vibe, so hordes rather than huge monsters.

So i've got 4 casters to try and bolster my forces, I was looking at the block of 30 Ghoul Kin with the Vampire to get the Early march and get into combat fast. I was thinking 6x5 for them. Them with the big block of Skeletons try to be my Anvils as it were. With the Grave Guard giving me some hitting power. My Vampire lord rocks out with the big Grave Guard unit.

What to do with the Necromancers is a problem, I was thinking about them taking the Corpse Carts as mounts, riding along behind my big units. But that leaves them vulnerable to cannon fire etc. Or maybe I should throw them into units drop the Corpse Carts and buy some more toys, maybe a Second Black Coach with the points.

Thoughts?
