In this thread i'm going to milk all the madness achievable from Unbound list building. It will not be a rant thread or a criticism thread: just stupid, funny, cheesy and rustler-of-jimmies lists.
Also, who said such lists will be fluffless or just-for-win? I'll even provide a background for each one of them.

I'll begin with the " SEVEN SAMURAI (FROM HELL) " - 1500 -
*It was a dark age of grim battles and turmoil. The empire was in flame. Every day, many defenders of mankind died in the attempt of stemming the tide of chaos. However, a hero arose: Kambei Shimada, a great psiker. He took vows of duty and sacrificed his immortal soul in the warp in order to gain enough power to save the imperium. He became a creature of pure warp. Then, he summoned six great beasts from the depth of hell, to help him in his forlorn cause: to fight fire with fire, to crush all the enemies of the emperor! And so, his journey began, an hellish army of seven, sworn to protect umanity in spite of all prejudice and fear they sowed in anyone who saw them...*

Heihachi Hayashida - Daemon Prince of Nurgle

200

Kyūzō - Daemon Prince of Khorne

Kikuchiyo - Daemon Prince of Nurgle

-So, ability to spam lesser daemons, 7 monstrous creatures at 1500 pts, 3 of those (nurgle) have a 2+ cover and are still able to charge...

All credit to @SwedeMarine for this list.

"Sons of Anarchy" - 1500
*There is a dire secret amongst space marines. In M.34 a whole foundation went awry. 8 Chapters where lost due to gene seed corruption and all of their Chapter Masters fleed, seeking freedom and self realization. Now they roam the galaxy, riding mighty and ancient bikes, going where they wilth and challenging any opponent they deem worthy. A gang of skilled riders, zooming in to the sunset... Still, they fight for humanity, altough with a different dream: freedom, strenght and honour for their space-faring kin, that are losing hope and soul, day after day.*

Turn 1: unleash 8 orbital strikes on the enemy. (BOOOOOMMMM!!! FEEL THE FREEDOM!!!)
Turn 2: assault and abuse hit and run.
Jink at 3+ and still able to assault? yes please.
A stupid and nasty list. For more fun you could make a single unit out of them...more realistically 4 units of 2.

And the madman goes on and on and on and on and...

"KREATOR REX WARP CULT" -1502-
*Kreator Rex is the first of Obliterators. Genius, madman, space marine, living armor: he is this and much more. A fearsome creature indeed, he commands countless obliterators and spread the machine virus that creates them. Sometimes, he will even walk the battlefield amongst his subjects, like a god of madness, literally a Deus Ex Machina!*

Kreator Rex - Hive Tyrant (seems an acceptable count as, to me)
Heavy Venom Cannon
Regeneration
(215)

Pride of Kreator - 3 Obliterators
MoTzeentch
(234)

Sons Of Rex - 3 Obliterators
MoNurgle
(228)

The Lone Shredder - 1 Mutilator

Cult of Virus-
1 Obliterator

1 Obliterator
1 Obliterator
1 Obliterator

1 Obliterator
1 Obliterator
(770)

EDIT: Thinking about it, Kreator Rex could as well be represented by this:
Warpsmith, MoNurgle, Palanquin of Nurgle, Sigils of Corruption (190)

Made a lovely idea somewhere for games of 500pts or any multiple of as a fortress.

3 X Wall of Martyrs Vengeance Weapon Battery + Battlecannon (255pts)
Unit of Horrors 11 models (99pts)
Aegis Defence Line (50pts)
Herald LV3 (95pts) (or just take another squad of horrors)
= 499

Can lose 10pts off by changing down to Gatling Guns is you want, though if you hide for the 2+ cover save it will only hit on 6s, while the battlecannons will just scatter a bit more.

Nothing stops you from using 5+d6 psy dice while also firing the 3 battlecannons and hiding behind that nice aegis for the 2+ cover save rerolling 1s :)
Of course those psy dice can make new heralds or maybe some plague drones or bloodletters or something to stomp up the field.

if you want the alternative version you could have gatling cannons and plague bearers so they don't have to go to ground.
Or BloodLetters as they are BS5 so would be hitting on 2s.

With your SM list though surely this needs to be in a different forum...

Alas, you are right. However, i'll post mainly chaos related list, so...one or two can pass ;)

How about this: "LAB RATS" -1500-
*Fabius Bile is a cruel scientist. He tries to manipolate the Space Marine gene and to foster a new bred of men, the **** Novus, the Ubermensch. However, results are not so common and more often than not he needs to empty his lab from "unwanted guests" and ghastly mishap or dreadful miscarriages.
When this happens, a small drop ship, filled with untold bio-horrors and raging madmen, will be launched towards an unaware imperial planet. The following carnge will then be observed and studied: even from errors there is something to be learnd...*

The Bloated Thing - Greater Daemon of Nurgle
Lesser Reward
(200)

The Bad Outcomes -
5 Spawns of Nurgle
5 Spawns of Nurgle
5 Spawns of Nurgle
5 Spawns of Nurgle
5 Spawns of Nurgle
(900)

Faulty **** Novus- Haemunculus
(50)

Raging Monstrosities Herd -
10 Grotesques
(350)

-Even with the 12" deployment limitation, this list will throw a stupid amount of multiwound, T5 and T6 beasts, at the enemy. Some lists could be taken by surprise by such a tactic but mostly this great mass of meat will be blasted. Anyhow, thats the way it is intended to be...

I call this FANTASIA

Tzeentch Heralds 45pts a model at LV 1 you could get yourself 22 for 990pts

All can roll to summon stuff and hope for sacrifice and incursion as many times as you can. All starting models are individuals so squads could only kill them 1 at a time unless they template.
Make sure you have some nice cover on your side though to just keep them hidden behind and just try to make an army as you go.
First summon a unit or 2 of horrors/daemonettes/letters/plagues. Then any heralds that got sacrifice can happily kill 1 of the new unit to get another herald (doesn't have to be tzeentch though now but it helps as a theme) and others can turn themselves into greater daemons.
Of course after you have your unit(s) to keep sacrificing from you need to build an army of bloodcrushers/drones/fiends/screamers (players choice) to do your damage.

It will be a little like Fantasia with the mops and buckets.

Of course this is just a slight twist on the traditional summoner army, and the evil maths god will likely make it die horribly but it does lose the weakness of horrors being mana batteries. But with 22 chances to get Sacrifice you should get 3-4 with it, to be able to make them do the fantasia dance.

Replace some Spawns of Nurgle with Beasts of Nurgle and it would be better I think. Attention Seeker making them able to charge anyone who charged their friends... 5+ daemon save, Shrouded, 4+ Poison Attack, D6+1 attacks rather than D6... W4 Each... Though they are lower Toughness and Strength :(

Com'un Av' A Go If Ya Think Ya 'Ard Enough!

Skarbrand 225 (or a Bloodthirster or SkullTaker on Jugger, Or Warboss of choice)

7 Void Shield Generators 100pts with 3 shields.
1 Void Shield Generators 75pts with 2 shields.

Scatter these shields around the board making lots of overlapping shields.

Move Scarbrand around there picking off enemies who will have to take down about 6-9 AV 12 shields before they can even hit him :)

Probably wont win you many objective based games, but you can have a ton of fun getting first blood, slay the warlord, line breaker and maybe eating some enemies as you go.

OLD GUNS KILLS AGAIN (IN THE NAME OF CHAOS) -2000-
* Yeshaya is a wise warpsmith. He knows that victory is not always with the brand new guns. Sometimes the old way is the best way. He managed to conquer, with his meager forces, some ill defended storages, housing what the imperium now considers junk or at best reserves for dire times. Yeshaya, instead, sees the untapped potential of these great machines of war. He will see them properly used, if the loyalists have no wish to use what they have...*

Helcult Flaming Fist -
Helbrute
16 Cultists, Flamer, 5 autoguns
15 Cultists, Flamer
(259)

Dark Magos Yeshaya - Warpsmith
Sigils of corruption
Mark of Tzeentch
(150)

Techno-Servants - 2 Obliterators
MoTzeentch

Devil Sting Armoured Group-

Ruin of the Weak - Malcador Super heavy battle tank
Hull autocannon
sponsons with autocannon

Doom of the Fool-Malcador Super heavy battle tank
Hull autocannon
sponsons with autocannon

(520)

Gaze of Chaos Armoured Group -

Carrion Feeder - Malcador Annihilator Super heavy battle tank
sponsons with lascannon

Last Sight - Malcador Annihilator Super heavy battle tank
sponsons with lascannon

Blood spiller - Malcador Annihilator Super heavy battle tank
sponsons with lascannon

(915)

The Malcador is not an alpha super heavy, but can put out an astounding amount of fire. Also, it has 6 hull points. We have 5 of those things with lots of antitank, lots of anti infantry and some large blasts of doom. With some luck the warpsmith can repair some damage. The helcult is there to protect the rear of the Malcadors. Obliterators protects Yeshaya and provide extra fire.
Come and get some!!!

-Alpha Legion Insurgent Cell- 1500 -
*The Alpha legion is infamous for its galaxy spread cult financing and training. When they happen to set up a well organized riot or terroristic attack, few things can stop them.
This terrorist group, "The Holy Preachers of the Gods of Freedom", has been trained off-planet and inserted in key locations alongside some well instructed Alpha Legion veterans. Such a strike force can overthrow any unprepared governor, with a swift and bloody golpe...*

Since Disciples are Ld 9, BS 4, infiltrating motherfuckers, the game will literally be a blast.
Outflanking or infiltrating in good position the first turn means that the enemy will immediatly feel a strong pressure from small, easily hid and multiple units of insurgents. While the Disciples cannot whitstand a serious retaliation, their unit number is such that any force applied to them will just be overkill. Alpha Leggionnaires should deliver an hard melee blow to any unit too strong for the terrorists to handle.
21 special weapons units and a space marine unit for the glory of chaos!
AA totally absent but..who cares!
