My first try at painting suhpace mahreenz.

And no, thats not the final platform.
I think its ok-ish, I just don't want the rest of my army to look too repetitive. How would you rate my paintjob?

What can I do to improve my painting?

What can I do to make it SM original, but not confusing for gaming? (i didnt read any chapters)

Paint looks good, on the multimelta I would say go ahead and drill the holes out ... a pet peeve of mine, and perhaps some script work on the purity seals. Other than that it looks pretty good.

Drill out the melta or paint in the barrels, but other than that all you need to is wash the silver areas with badab black, the blue areas with asurmen blue and the gold areas with gryphonne sepia and you'll have yourself a mighty fine looking model.

Cheers,

El
Oh man I'm like totally broke right now hehe and I don't have those paints.
Ill work on melta though.

you can do the washing part with taking a darker blue (or just mix your regular blue with a pinch of black) and water with soap so you get a very very thing dark blue. Thats more or less what the normal washes of GW themself are too.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I finished the base and retouched it a bit.
Tell me what you think.
