Leaving me 113.

Bearing in mind I am aiming competetive...

Options I can think of:

1. Drop the Banner of Rage and MoT for MoK and Razor Standard for a cumulative loss of 20, leaving me 93. If I drop the shields this will give me 110. 7 more MoK Halberdiers would be 112 which would swing outside of tournament. That would give me 24 (4 ranks of 7 w/ BSB) frenzied AP Halberdiers, but I lose 1 AS and 6++. Think the extra wounds might compensate for that.

2. If I take the Standard of Bloodlust on the BSB that is re-rolling frenzied AP halberdiers, still with shields and 38 points to spend. i.e. 2 chosen.

3. 6 marauder horsemen as above.

Also, should i take halberd or flail on BSB? Thanks guys.

Hellcannon is only 205, get some more chosen in there!

2 warshrines is quite frankly evil, if the troops were all khorne halberd i would be affraid.

is right HC is 205 giving you a total of 2261

also with this unit

drop razor and get banner of rage

as for the horseman unless they get more men l would drop MoT more chosen and warriors

Doh! of course Sybarite! Forgot I had given them halberds so they would only be getting 6++ anyway! Frenzy ahoy! Good shout! 10 point saved as well!

Thanks for the pick-up guys I will have a think. 249 points to use now. 269 if I drop MoT on Horsemen. Wow - It's amazing how a little refining can massively improve an army. Just see my first list for evidence. Thanks guys for all your help!

Three extra men all round leaves me 105... Standard of Bloodlust on BSB? Frenzied re-rollining halberdiers? or Razor Standard? Frenzied AP Halberdiers? then throw 2/ 3 more chosen in?

Or just buy 5 more Chosen?

Or 5 more Marauder Horsemen?

Those I think are my realistic options for a competetive take-all-comers army.

If memory serves then models with the Fly special rule cannot join units that do not have it, so unless you're planning on flying around with your BSB (which doesn't look like a good idea to me) you might want to drop it.

I'd also drop the Hellcannon, WoC is really Warriors of Chaos, you barely need anything else, because the one thing your Halberd-Shield-toting Warriors can't handle is the Steam Tank (anything else with a higher Toughness can be dealth with either with massed attacks or magic), which can't really be handled by anything else any better, with the exclusion of magic but you're going to take that regardless, right? Especially in a Tzeentch list. So if I were you I'd get two lvl 2 Sorcerers, one with Lore of Shadows and the other with Lore of Death. Or both take the same Lore if you prefer. Just take some more Sorcerers because that Tzeentchian Lord isn't going to use up too many power dice.

Oh and I'd always give anyone a Halberd over a Flail anytime. The Flail might give you a one-time bonus, but the Halberd's +1S stays with you as long as you're alive. Which is as long as you need it. :p

well with HC l have had mixed wins with it,

sometimes its won me the game other time it did near to nothing, as for the 2 lvl 2 Sorcerers its the same thing its all who you are vsing in your area as the HC is better agiest some army's then the Sorcerers and vic visa once agien its all how you like to play

do not put your lord here have him fly around and cause death everywere, l whould also move the Blasted standard to the unit of 21 warriors as l am guessing you will put your 3 EotG rolls on the Chosen so odds are (after 2 or 3 turns) you will get a better ward save then the blasted standard then you can give your unit any other banner on the BSB lose the DiscoT and put him with the chosen so you get 2 banners on the chosen + what ever from the EotG rolls.

P.S when you setup you men put the 21x warriors in fount of your Chosen to act as meat shield till you get the EotG rolls you want.
