Hey All,

Super noob here! I haven't played since 4th Edition as a kid and think I've got the hobby bug. I've ordered my first models (20 Pink Horrors, a Daemon Prince, and Tzeentch Herald on Disk) and have finally found what I'm looking to build.

I've read a lot of lore, looked at a lot of models, and finally settled on going Thousand Sons and Tzeentch Demons as my army I'll be building. I love these guys, so interesting of units and have great alternative models.

This is the list so far:

CSM

HQ

Ahriman

Elite

Terimantors - 3 x Terminator, 1 x Terminator Champion, all Power Mauls and Combi-Melta, MoT, with Veteran of the Long war. Additionally Chaos Land Raider attached with Dozer Blade and Havoc Launcher.

Troops

Thousand Sons - 5 x Thousand Sons Rubric Marines, 1 Aspiring Sorcerer with Melta Bombs, all have Aura of Dark Glory. Chaos Rhino attached with Dozer Blade.

Thousand Sons - 5 x Thousand Sons Rubric Marines, 1 Aspiring Sorcerer with Melta Bombs, all have Aura of Dark Glory. Chaos Rhino attached with Dozer Blade.

Heavy Support

Chaos Fire Raptor Gunship - Armored Cermatie, Two Independent Reaper Auto-Cannons, and standard Hellstrike missles

Allied

CD

HQ

Tzeentch Herald - 2 x Tzeentch Herald on Discs, ELoC on both, and 1 Endless Grimoire.

Troops

Pink Horrors - 11 x Pink Horrors

Pink Horrors - 11 x Pink Horrors

This sets me up with 16 Warp Charges + 1d6, anti-MEQ (TSons), anti-tank (Terminators), anti-air (Fire Raptor), anti-horde (Ahriman/Pyschic Shriek), lots of Psychic Powers (Ahriman going for Invisibility and a good witch fire, Heralds going for Consecrated Earth and possession/summoning, Pink Horrors attached for possession/summoning), and Warp Charge batteries (Pink Horrors, Tzeentch Heralds).

With all the cool alternative models, and fluff behind T-Sons I really dig them and Tzeentch (love spells in anything, especially 3.5 DnD [Abjurant Champion/Frenzied Berserker FTW]).

Advice? Suggestions? Help me make this T-Sons list viable!

Welcome, zodd.
I like the list!
just remember that the most important thing is to find some decent and friendly folks to play with.
Also, your list will have a pretty steep learning curve: be prepared to get rekt. :grin2:
