This is a model I made (and still painting) going for the Duel category in GD. It's a Dire Avenger roasting some Rippers.

Yes, I know. He lost a wing.

Very nice work on the dire avengers...why is always those little rippers that get it :wink: What did you use to model the flames?

Interesting stuff also with the terminator commander, judging by the feathers and his nice, big sword I'd say he's a dark angel?

I sculpted the flames with green stuff and yeah, the terminator is a DA, although I'm not sure how hes there. I don't remember putting his image into the forum. I'll get rid of it now.

thanks everyone. I like the light coming off the flames on the models (except the avenger head) but i stuffed it up on the rocks. i might redo that.

It's still a bit unfinished. I've been failing to finish it when I go to GW. Whenever I go, I'm painting my deathwing. I'll try to get this finished asap.

One, you've gone over the top with the source lighting on the helmet. Ease it back a little.

Two, the rippers look too static. Make them look like they're more than just bored.
