.. or ever since the codex was released anyway... This would not be as competitive as a lot of armies would be. It would be an all or nothing, "god i hope i get the first turn" kind of army :) But it would be a centerpiece army. One that you would go to a tournament or local gaming and everyone would go, "holy crap, look at that!". Shock and awe baby :) So without further adu, the army i've always wanted to build but still have not pulled the trigger on yet (though i've been so close so many times...)

This is an army that the Inquisitor Lord sent to battle, gathering the planets heretics to repulse the enemy, allowing them one last single chance of redemption. Backed by the planets own precinct of Arbites, he leads them to thier eventual doom, but sending the enemy screaming into thiers as well...

The Army of Repent

Inquisitor Lord Karamazov

5 Arco Flagellants

6 Arco Flagellants

20 Sister Repentia
Mistress
Priest

10 Arbite Squad
2 Grenade Launchers
Veteran
Rosarius and Power Weapon (these would be modelled with the riot shield as the rosarius and the power maul as the power weapon)

10 Arbite Squad
2 Grenade Launchers
Veteran
Rosarius and Power Weapon

3 Penitent Engines

3 Penitent Engines

59 models

by the way, thank you guys for being a good community and not berating me for this list. I posted this on Warseer at about the same time, and literally got bashed, flamed, and belittled for even the thought of this army. Makes me glad this community is starting off well.

I spy the Priest in the Repentia squad.

Not much advice available- it is using some of the 'worst' units in the game, personally I don't even think first turn will give it a chance in hell of winning.

But that's not what this is about is it,

Clearly your getting to build, paint and use models you like.

I personally like it. It's a refreshing change from the usual "Let's see how many Faithful units I can cram into a Witch Hunters army..." IMO, Witch Hunters are the best army in the game (from a raw point-to-point comparison of their abilities) and seeing something that isn't packed to the brim with fighting nuns has reaffirmed my faith in the Witch Hunter player population.

Myself, I favor witchunter core with allied marines instead of sisters (the WH marine list is better than the DH marine list), throw in an allied demonhunter for 'metalstorm' fire support, and perhaps some daemonhosts

Plus Adeptus Arbites mounted shotgun squad is pretty cool
