I've just finished off this Moritat to kick off a new Heresy era Alpha Legion army:

It took quite a bit of trial and error to work out how to do the armour but I think it's come out quite well. Let me know what you think.

Next up will be a 10 man Tactical squad so make sure to follow along as I build up the rest of the army.

Love the way the blue came out on the armor. Actually, how did you get that?

Is that blending or blue ink over a silver-gray?

I think it looks well done but it's missing something. I suspect it's not enough contrast. The blue looks really nice but there's no accent colour to set off the blue. The cloak is also pretty bland compared to how good the blue is.

I think the cloak should probably have a greenish cast to it. And the armour detailing and pistol detailing could stand to have a warmer metal included like a bronze or a brass.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the squad.
