The two souless angels

There is a dark secret within the Arc-Angel space marine chapter, and it lies within the two surviving members of The Grand Lord Makavehli's guardian angels bodyguard. When the Grand Lord defeated and banished the deamon Vah'Lash back to the warp, his two remaining bodyguards were wounded by the deamon. Everyone one was shooken and the Angels hurried back to the palace sanctuary to tally the losses. Apon arriving, Lord Makavehli collapsed onto the floor and nearly died if not for his bodyguards who nearly bled to death to give him plasma. After Makavehli was put in stasis the chapter looked to them as leaders, but the two angels were blank, they had empty stares in there eyes and did not speak to anyone save themselves. One day they locked away there armour and weapons, took some survival gear and there ceremonial dress armour and headed out into the Maria peaks, were the nomadic tribe of Kuriss dwell, as the young strongest serve as recruits for the arc angels. Every year When the tribes sends its potential candidates out into the black forest of Newbaal it is the two fallen angels who find the boys suitible for recruitment and in the shadow of the night drop them off at the gates of the palace sanctuary. With the physiology of an astarte these worriors are extremely ancient and can never die unless killed. They border over four thousand years old and are decribed as wearing ornate breastplates with animal fur clothes and long cloaks made of raven feathers. They are described as carrying long spears that crackle with black lightning. It its belived that they lost there souls when wounded by the weapon of Va'lash, and after witnessing there mighty grand lord have to go into stasis they became agitated and could not be around other marines, they even made others feel sick when around them, giving a strong sense of resentment to the fallen. They are beleived to be fierce warriors still who have evidently have been able to survive for so long without there chapter, and have also never brought a candidate to the palace who did not become an Arc-Angel.
