Loes, all.

I just came to notice that this forum doesn't really have a thread where people can show off and talk about conversions they've made without making too much fuzz about it. I reckon that it's too much to start a whole new thread just to show people a converted model, and hence, I made this one.

To start it off, I have a recently assembeled, scratch built Chaplain in terminator armour. Say hello toooooo - Interrogator Chaplain Levitticus!

He's based on an assault termie with thuner hammer. The head is from the Chaos Warrior sprue, the Corzicus Arcanum is a cut down 'ammer with a Dark Angels sprue banner top added to it. The Rosarius and book are from the same sprue. The right shoulder pad is from the Ravenwing sprue, while all the other bits are just scraps.

Waddaya think?

Thanks!

I sprayed him last night (just after I got him), and started painting today. I'll probably have it finished tomorrow. The problem is just that I won't be able to use him in games for a while, because the points cost of all my units are so uneven that I can't make them into a 1000 point force, and therefore have to wait until I can my more stuff, and use him in a 1500 point game.

I'll put up some pics of him pained too.

nice. what's that bit of gold hanging down his back?
Dunno, it's a scrap bit that allready was painted. I picked it off some Empire model which I didn't use for anything, but I think that it actually originates from a Dark Elf cold one knight. Just thought it would be nice to fill the gap between the shield and the back of the body.

Keen eyes might also notice that the shield stems from some LOTR Gondor models.

Being too lazy to edit the post - here's some pics of the Chappie, with its paint job finished. Took me half a day to finish, so you better like it!

(Not to seem arrogant, but personally I must admit that I am impressed and amazed by myself. It just feels so damn good knowing that you've pushed yourslef a little further!)

Nice. I like it.
That is extremely good for half day's work. I usually take weeks painting characters.
Yay, thanks!

Well, if you count the building, basing, spraying etc, it's probably more like three quarters of a day.

And I also painted my new predator 3/4 finished that day. I'll try to finnish it before the sun goes down... :victory:

This is my wip Witchhunters Hellhammer. I haven't been able to work on it for a few weeks due to ill-health, but it's coming along ok.

I'm working on a Deathwatch Army at the moment, and I might do a Baneblade themed around them as well...plenty of scope for conversions and the like, for the Baneblade and the Troops.

Wow, that looks awesome! Looking forward to see your other projects. :so_happy:

Here's a Commander that I helped my little brother build for his army, the Templar Guard. Just thought I'd post it before he rapes the awesome model with his painting skills, as he after all is an 11-year-old...

He's an even mix of Commander and Black Templar bits, with the head of the Emperor's Champion and a griph and shield from the Empire commander sprue.

This is the model I am currently working on for the Heresy Online legion paint schemes. Waiting for a chapter symbol to be chosen so I can finish it up with a bit of freehand. Cloak, loincloth, banner are all gs (thanks Dark Messiah for the how to) and the arms are Grey Knight arms. Basic but effective I think.

Here is a Chaos rhino that I have completed. Actually its been done for a while, but thought it would show the sort of things I like to do.

The red is not this bright, its just my camera really does make it stand out for some reason.
