Hey guys, I'm modelling the primarch Angron, for an apocalypse game to recreate the Isstvan 5 Dropsite Massacre. I am playing as World Eaters, and can't decide how to model Angron, any ideas?

I thought to use a terminator, then green stuff to extend the legs and the arms, and use several chain axes from the Khorne Berzerkers to make his weapon.

What do you guys think? Is there a better/cheaper way?

cheers,
Shas'o

Holy shit that Lion El'Jonson looks amazing. Err I mean Knight hero model...

That Angron could rock with some work.

A good idea, but I would rather make it myself and not spend that much on it.

How about the Lord Zhufor model from Forge World? Albeit with less Khorne sigils, although they can always be filed off I guess. It's a awesome looking model, and if painted right I could definatly see it as a Pre-Heresy count as, hope that gives you some inspiration! :)

I think it would still need to be bigger. If you were to use a terminator it would need to be streched by about 30-40%. With extra length added to the upper and lower arms, torso and the upper and lower legs. Angron is a monster, even before elevation to demonhood. Maybe the csm dp would be a better place to start.
