I was just wondering which is your most popular warjack. This one will focus only on heavies.

Remember this is a popularity contest. So it is the jack you find overall most useful. Obviously some jacks are priceless with certain casters and useless with others. So just say which ones you use the most.

Id have to say Centurion. I find it hard not to run a list with 1 in it.

Gotta love the DJ (Deathjack), simply for his Focus generation, and his Necromancy ability. A little costly for the smaller games, but in larger games he's the priority target thanks to his stats and spells.

He certainly has some amazing abilities, I remember reading his stat card and thinking "damn that's good". In the same vein the Avatar character jack is bloody tough, generates it's own focus, and is simply a wrecking ball, with a few useful abilities besides. I think in general the Character jacks can bring things to the table that few other jacks can, which often puts them at the top of "favourite jack" lists.

With the non-specials, I would probably go for a Cryxian Reaper. It's a reasonably cheap heavy, with a harpoon that can pull enemies towards him into melee, at which point he can instantly start beating up on them. The ability to pull enemies out of position, and the huge threat range it gives you is amazing, with a little luck. I borrowed my friends Cryx for a game just last week, and (using a little bit of Cryx sneakiness with spells), managed to hook in the enemy caster, and proceeded to beat him to death in a single round (thanks to sustained attack, which lets you autohit if you hit the first time). The sheer utility of pulling enemies out of line, and the 16" potential threat range if you have a movement buff, and all on such a cheap jack... Definitely pretty good.

On the Protectorate of Menoth side, the 4 point Dervish can waltz through enemy lines, each initial attack that hits giving it an extra 2" move, ignoring Free strikes. It's not all that strong, but it can turn up where your opponent doesn't expect it to be, and is cheap as chips. Or the 4 point repenter - when buffed by a choir, it's a cheap POW 14, RAT 7 flamethrower, that will waste troops by the bucketload.

As far as specials go I am inclined to agree regarding Deathjack, the thing just rocks and it scares the crap out of opponents without doubt. Good at killing other jacks for sure but it is spectacular at killing troops, especially since it can regen it wounds when it kills a model and store the soul tokens for more focus.

As far as the non-specials go, I have to agree with Maddermax. The Reaper is an ungodly awesome jack for its points. There is nothing better than using its harpoon to bring an enemy jack into close combat and charge range of the rest of your army. Facing a couple of heavy warjacks like Khador has access to? Pull one in and absolutely destroy it between the Reaper itself and any other units you need.

The Reaper is the direct cause one of my games ended in turn two. My opponent was using the Khador caster that is in jack armour (can't remember the name offhand) and forgot about the Reapers harpoon. The Reaper pulled him in, took half his damage off and the Deathjack charged in and utterly annihilated him. The look on my friends face was absolutely priceless.
