in my experience vallego paints were really thin and had poor coverage. higher quality in this case is a matter of opinion

Any particular reason? These days I don't even get my books from GW/BL let alone models (I'm still supporting GW because these independent retailers have to buy the stuff they sell from GW in the first place).

Yeah, but I prefer to buy the stuff i want directly from the company that makes them, as imo it feels safer to do that... But I do buy stuff from indepent retailers, but I dont order anything from them...
