Anyone looking for an alternative Ork minis range? Maxmini have a kickstarter set up, and these guys look a hell of a lot of fun. Not the cheapest range in the world, to be sure, but the example minis they've got up look quality. Could even manage a Bolt Action army if you're gaming group has a sense of humour...

A £120 pledge will get you about 40-50 Orc models (better value if you pledge more as the shipping doesn't get any more expensive above that level). Also have a halftrack and tank model, and some goblins.

The campaign is already funded, and working its way through the first set of stretch goals now :)

Had to pledge just for the shooter Orks, they look really cool.
They'd go well in any unit! The sample models at the bottom have a lot of detail in them as well which is nice to see.

Ugh, if I hadn't used up my hobby funds for the year I would be all over this KS. This stuff is cool.

A few days to go on this one, they've now unlocked everything they were looking to at the outset, including bikes, dreads and a plane. The options are all looking pretty niftly (love the bikes!). They're now also saying that pledges above a certain level will get a couple of character models thrown in free, which is nice.

I'd love to see a Plog of someone working on a full army of these guys, would look great on the table I reckon.
