I will soon be starting to put together a Tau force and I'm hoping for some painting advice as the title suggests.

I plan on using the Sa'cea sept colours, a lot of the guides I've seen have been for the more light blue/grey version but I'm hoping for something more along the lines of the darker blue pictured on the GW Crisis team section. I have no idea what colours I would use for them though, could anyone give me some pointers?

Hmm its certainly quite a dark blue, thinking maybe a dark kantor blue (in GW paints if thats what you use) followed by macragge blue and whichever the lighter is for highlights. As to the orange lines maybe a mix of troll slayer orange maybe a 1:1 with one of that darker reds to get that shade. At least thats my thoughts.

Thanks, any idea on the grey? I'm planning on ordering some bits soon.
