Hi, i trying to think where to start with explaining my work and the story behind the enclave.

When i first read the story of farsight "O'shovah", i fell in love with the whole, do or die attuide...then reading the rules of farsight, i quick decided that it was time for a change from the ease of power armour and chaos gods, to the customizeation of the battle suit :victory:.

right so lets begin, first of i am going to show you my first 2 painted battle suits.... i find them good, but i feel something is missing, any pointers would be great i hope you like them

Good color pallet, I don't like the vomit brown and purple intermixed, it draws from the good paint job. IMHO. However the grey to red is very nice. Some highlights to the red might be nice with a wash of gryphonne sepia to the grey and other colors. just my two sence but nice models.

I like what you have so far and the colour scheme is cool. One thing you need to do however is possibly do another coat on your colours as it looks like the black basecoat is bleeding through.

well i didnt read all the comment so if im repeating anything ignore but first of all what stands out to me is the colour scheme i think is really nice then the fact the base is not done and i know that does not sound like much but can really help bring the model alive, also the red really needs edge highlights and the black parts look really black so much so you cant really see them so maybe a dark grey wash would help but im not sure, as dont paint black at all really but i do have a chaplin comin up.

thanks for all you comments, i think i am in need of a high lighting lesson, and i think with the bases i may try a snow base or sand...with a little bit of industal waste thrown, in but more pictures soon, got a fair amount to do :)

I like the colors that you are working with but I agree that another layer of paint to cover up the black primer would be advised. especially on the hammer head, it is looking great so keep up the good work.

everything looks good and you also took heed from people suggesting an extra coat of paint. The one thing to look out for in that is putting your paint on too thick. Make sure you water down your paint so it doesn't clump up and you get that perfect glass smooth paint.

Hey dude looking good.
Remember how you promised me you would upload my Slasher pictures for me with the models? Remember that you told me on Wednesday that you would do them that night and then Thursday you told me they would be up by Friday? unfortunately i still don't have a link to where you uploaded them....so due to unforseen circumstances your lovely ranger character, Chase Snowblaine, is unfortunately going to be having an arm wrestling match with a troll in our next session. I gotta say...i'm looking forwards to it.
