Tank Shock

If I have a Tank coming in from reserve and my opponent has lined my board edge can I declare a tank shock while I am off the table to force my way onto the board?

I'm assuming most people are familiar with the following lols already:

Yes!

In the aforepictured situation, the player in Reserve had no vehicles or units that could pass over enemy models (skimmers/jetbikes/jump Infantry) so he just auto-lost. Tanks could TS onto the table and fire upon the models blocking, hopefully opening a hole for other later Reserves to deploy through.
0 points for sportsmanship.
Yes, because it's certainly unsporting to take advantage of someone being stupid.

Sportsmanship/= let you win
It would be stupid to think that "all Reserves" couldn't be countered. I didn't say the guy deserved full marks but a zero sportsmanship smacks of sour grapes to me.
