ok, this is just a minor rant in the scheme of things

but does any1 else get confused on what a "1500 GT army" is in the SM section? i mean there are 5 variant lists that can happen

so would there ever be a need / want to further divide the SM army list section?

thoughts?

I have created a thread addressing this issue a few days ago.

http://www.heresy-online.net/forums/showthread.php?t=70885

Just an idea that i have seen work well on some other forums.

Each Marine codex now is a stand-alone, unlike back in 3rd ed.
As a result, they play fairly different to each other, and their tactics and list structure is quite different.

What are peoples thoughts on separating the army list section for marines into their own codices?

There would be 2 options...

Option 1
Have the marine codices as separate codices...
- Black Templar
- Blood Angels
- Chaos Daemons
- Chaos Space Marines
- Daemonhunters
- Dark Angels
- Dark Eldar
- Eldar
- Imperial Guard
- Necron
- Ork
- Space Marines
- Space Wolves
- Tau
- Tyranid
- Witch Hunters

Option 2 (my personal preference)
Have the marine codices as a sub-category of loyalist marines...
- Chaos Daemons
- Chaos Space Marines
- Daemonhunters
- Dark Eldar
- Eldar
- Imperial Guard
- Necron
- Ork
- Space Marines
------- Space Marines
------- Black Templars
------- Blood Angels
------- Dark Angels
------- Space Wolves
- Tau
- Tyranid
- Witch Hunters

Would make it a lot easier for say a Blood Angels player to find army lists of other Blood Angels players, rather than going through 10 pages of threads just to find a small handful of lists.

I realize it could mean a lot of time and effort trying to sort through all of the existing threads to sort them.
If the Admins/Mods considered it though, i would be happy to spend the time to help the mods sort through it all and move them to their appropriate forum category.
