With the head piece I can't help but think it's an Ork dedicated to Tzeentch.

I really like this, its got a real creepy other worldness about it, the pose and sculpt is excellent, the only thing I dont like is the dangly tenticle crab arms under the platform, they just dont seem to make sense to me, other than that it ticks alot of boxes for me.

I see them as manipulating the winds of chaos to propel him forwards, a bit like the Screamers do. I think he would work just as well off the disk though, put a couple of books in front of him and away you go.

im just not sold on them, screamers make sense as they are animal like, these just feel a bit like they are stuck on to some rock, if there was say some other visible feature like some eyes and a mouth i could buy into the rock platform being a deamon familiar (like a disk of tzeentch) or a corrupted mount,this just looks a bit like a sweeping brush, seriously though its a minor quibble.

The more I look at it the more I think using the head of his staff in place of the original would make it a great mini. Just put a Tzeentch banner top on there instead.

Might be a good substitute for a Herald of Tzeentch (if the price is right) and the person buying has enough creativity to change the bits they don't like! I might look into it!
