Basically, i was thinking of putting some light armour into my guard/doing a light armoured reg next.

I'm looking for jeep kits that would fit the scale of the 40k universe (for use as sentinals), as well as some motorbikes that could be used to represent rough riders. Anyone got any ideas?/ websites for airfix kits you could suggest?

Thanks, but thats nowhere near the look/amount of conversion i was aiming for unfortunately. The model would basically have to be scrapped completely. I'd be better off sculpting one myself methinks.

look into the conversions that people have done to make a land speeder into a warthog for halo. Apparently they use them as sentinals in 40K

1/48th scale models are the closest to WH40K. My 40K stuff comes up to about the stomache level of my 1/35 scale guys. Unfortunately I cannot remember the model rail road guage that approximates 40K though. Then again I put a 1/35 scale M113 next to a rhino and it's only slightly bigger with a closer match up than my 1/48th scale merkeva. Hope this helps you man.
