Right inspired by several similar threads in this section I have decided to start my own 'everything I am working on' thread. For those who don't know me I am great at ideas but not so good at finishing them off. So hopefully this thread will help keep me motivated to finish off my various ongoing projects and stick to my resolution of not playing with unpainted models. I have managed to keep that resolution since the start of 2007 so far.

Now my painting skills aren't at the level of a lot of the regular posters to these boards but I am making a concerted effort to improve so would appreciate any C&C.

I am first and foremost an IG player, with two armies currently completed and another 2 in plan, they are: -
Delatarn 47th Rifles - Infantry Guard army with a mish-mash of artillery support. (~3000pts completed)
Mabian 224th Armoured Cavalry - Mechanised Grenadiers army. (~2000pts completed)
Helsrech 173rd Grav-Rangers - Light Infantry Drop troops (Not started – FW Valkarie to assemble but I am scared of messing it up)
Krieg 276th Assault Korps - Death Korps of Krieg speaks for itself really (Not started - my wife bought me some of the models for xmas)

As well as Guard I have the following armies started or to start...

Eldar - small Biel-tan splinter - Tan-alei (~1200pts completed)
Orks - Largely a Blood Axe clan based army, currently being restructured after the release of the new codex
SM (Salamanders) - Just starting this, was triggered by the rediscovery of Space Hulk 1st Ed in the loft, currently only 2 terminator squads painted
Tau - 1 test kroot painted thus far, started out of desire to see how they play as it is one army I rarely face.

OMG that’s a lot when I write it all down!!! :shok:

So with my ticket secured for the Damocles Gulf Campaign weekend in May I have decided to focus on finishing my army for that asap to properly playtest it, and then split my time 50:50 between my Orks and Salamanders to get playable armies with both of those. However I will probably tangent off
wildly to paint something that takes my fancy

So to finish for May I have...
1 Baneblade (assembled, needs painting)
5 Roughriders - no horses tho, these guys are on Quad bikes as befits a mechanised regiment (Need to be assembled and painted)
3 HB Tarantulas (Need to be assembled and painted)
6 Deathwatch Marines - 1 Capt w. LC's, 1 HB, 4 Normal DW Marines (Need to be assembled and painted)

Oh and on top of all of this I am trying to get my garage converted into a gaming room.

Looking good, maybe use some black inkwash to make the metal parts that bit more realistic. Such as the Leman russ tracks and the termi heavy flamer. Keep up the good work and your painting will improve.

Quoted for truth.

I would suggest a different colour for the eyes however as the yellow blends into the green too much. Orange or red would contrast more and look much better. You also need to leave some darker areas in the recesses of the model to provide shading, although it might be from the lighting. Keep it up.
