Hey guys, hoping you would be able to help me with a rules question.

I was wondering can Scouts take a Rhino or Razorback? In their entry in the codex it does not state that they can take a dedicated transport.

Secondly if i took a wolf guard unit but had them all leading units of Grey Hunters as squad leaders and also leading my scouts, can the scouts with the wolf guard squad leader then take a dedicated transport? As in the codex the Wolf Guard can take a deicated transport?

The plan would be to drop a tooled up razorback with wolf guard squad leader and scouts behind the opponents board edge popping tanks from the side or rear.

So is this possible and not against the rules?

Im afraid as it does not list that they can take a dedicated transports the ol wolf scouts have to go a walking if you want to use them behind enemy lines.

If a wolf guard was leading them (i'm not as sure as the first question) again I don't think they can, as the wolf guard becomes part of their squad, following their rules, not vice versa. If I'm wrong someone please correct me but that's how I saw it.

i figured the scouts by themselves wouldn't be able to.

Can someone clarify if they can if led by a wolf guard squad leader?

Sure!

BRB, pg 94, right column, 5th paragraph (under Outflank), 6th sentence:

Note, that if such units are picked from their army list together with a Dedicated Transport, they may Outflank with their transport...
Scouts have no way of gaining a Dedicated Transport. Even with creative Wolfguard Shenanigans.
