Hey there, As i plan out buying a 2nd army, i've decided to go for Wolves.

I'd just like to know if anyone runs an effective wolves list that consists of Logan and Terminators!

Terminators are my favourite model out of all things Human (If you class the Chaos ones Human), So if anyone could give a man a helping hand, and point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it!

Well there are two characters that are in termie armour which makes it quite nice to have. There is Logan who you have talked about and would be a great HQ unit for your army. Then there is Arjac the Rockfist who is basically a Space Wolf EQ of Lysander...that can throw his hammer, He's an upgrade and many wolf players (including myself) have argued amongst each other on whether he is worth his points (I think he is).

So an all termie army will probably only work at 2000 points, my fun little army list consist of

Logan

4x 5x man WG in termie (SS and PF (Didn't feel like giving them a TH as it is only slightly different than that of a PF) including Arjac in one unit)

and 2 Landraiders (Whatever Variant you like I have a vanilla Raider and Raider Crusader)

usually strats are that I put two units in the land raiders (pray to whatever god you like to get first turn) get into assault first turn then deepstrike the other two squads

EDIT: Fuck just read you can't deepstrike them my bad

The way you would make this more competitive is by adding combi-meltas, you should have just enough points to replace every SB with one or a combi-flamer.

Bitz&kits or other bits sites. For mine just remove a terminator squad and a LF group. Some other stuff maybe.

He is right. just drop some LF squads (in my list the one with all the MM before the rest)

They are best played in 2000 pts but you can play 1500 for sure but it is less competitive.

EDIT: Gen. In your list is it 5 missile launchers total, or 5 in each squad?

you can convert arjac from the SW termie kit, just give him a hammer and a shield like this one (file the chaos symbol off).

I would also probably convert Logan out of that kit, since the model is metal and quite old, so it doesn't look as impressive as the new termie kit. Just give him a big axe and maybe a head from marauder horsemen that has a big beard and you're done.

I once saw an awesome conversion for arjac, but I can't recall the site. Anyway, you can just make a TH/SS term and bling him out.

It's a total of 15 ML.

definitely, termie armies are fucking expensive and for my arjac I took Lysander and wolfified his stuff (filed all of the Sunmarine logos then put on wolf bits) It looks pretty awesome I'll post a pic if I can find my camera

yeah, Any army, is expensive though, to be honest. I could make a termie army fairly cheap though, just need to make expensive units. IE: TH + SS termie wolf guard do the job nicely of filling points fast, but then thats not very competitive for SW.

as for this: its 5 MLs per. you NEED to give all your LFs cept your Sargent a weapon. so that would be 15 ML shots at once

I have realized its easy to get the terminators by just grabbing up AoBR termies. Converting the if easy. and it makes deathwing and logan wing armies much much cheaper

Well here's what I did... the price per bit for the Space Marine ML arms was a little steep... but the Scout bits were still cheap... so I pu them together like this... 3 units of 6 LF cost me about $60

Odd, they don't have power armor. Lol I don't even have my army all together. Been using a base with a stick the hight of a sm on it. Lol

True... but they're not $5- a ML either.... and that was what drove the decision...

Also, they're just a specialist marine... and I haven't had ANY problem dropping them on the table... lets call it a armor (4+) that goes to 3+ cause they're better at standing behind stuff than normal marines

Though if I had it to do over, I'd use the heads from these scouts I did for my Codex Marines
